This was the most humblest interview I seen in a long time. Sidenote: He has a nice soothing voice.

I was going through the toughest time of my life and used to listen to TH-cam to get me through at work. I stumbled across D’Angelo’s song ‘Really Love’ and it got me hooked. I didn’t know it was the same person who sang ‘how does it feel’ or ‘brown sugar’. It’s a joy to follow his journey and pray I’ll meet him one day. God bless him. God touched him. X

Amazing interview
so happy I found this this interview. I was entranced with Black Messiah when it came out and listened to it nonstop for at least a year. I made sure to buy tickets to see D'Angelo in person - front row - because I knew what a remarkable artist and musician he is. But this interview really helped me understand him so much better as an artist and as a person. So grateful to be able to view this interview
He is very sincere, and he seems to be struggling with life.

He was so much smaller here & had a lisp unlike his interview just 2 years before for his Red Bull interview. I hope he is/was well. Has ANYONE seen him since 2015? Seriously!!

Jasa Brown what does " he was so much smaller here" mean. He sits all the time. I'm confused.( In the Red Bull Interwiew he hugs Quest, and yes, Quest is taller.) But here, all you have to do is to enjoy the interview.
