I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account? I somehow lost the login password. I love any tricks you can offer me.
@Salvador Marley Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
You can tell Dangelo studied the hell out of Prince. From the band members to covering the original version of The Latest Fashion. I always admired Dangelo for that . And he’s authentic. He didn’t wait until after Prince died to show love for his hero.
Jimi did not patent the afro or even his style of dress. Jesse has been in the business for over 30 years and has earned his reputation as a funk/blues/rock guitarist. Quest and D'anjelo were influenced and inspired by Prince and Jesse worked with Prince and contributed to the famous "Minneapolis Sound". Jesse and Prince were both influenced by Jimi. That is how music is passed along. People have to stop comparing every good black guitarist to Jimi. Jesse can dress like Sponge Bob, still great.
I have all the respect in the world for these cats because they've always stayed true to who they are and they have so much love for their craft. I have THAT MUCH MORE respect because they said a little prayer before they went out and rocked an obviously packed house. That's what's up.
what a performance! that pocket is so deep i lost my wallet in it! when they hit Ed on the one at the 8:52 mark, the dynamic range Pino is rocking to start that section is absolutely masterclass. totally drives the song along and pushed you deeper into Ed's amazing sax. WOW
Awe snap. This is the jam. D'Angelo is the truth. Gone a decade from the music scene & came back with a BAM-JAM. You go Son. Love that he's back in full effect
I'm craving more live D'Angelo after seeing him perform at London's Hammersmith Apollo. This video just shows the extraordinary talent that D and this band of talented musicians possess. Not forgetting Kendra Foster who is the most mesmerising backing singer I have ever seen. Thank you for posting
Good God..Lawd Have Mercy...I bump this video every spring and summer since 2012... Love the band..Love the sound.. Big ups to one of my top fav Bassist Pino Pallidino on Bass bringin the Funk!!..Legendary
Many have already stated it the truth. This superjam was unbelievable even going against the vibrating bass of skrillex these men rocked that night. I stood there in amazement one song after another to finally when they ended i road a musical high of happiness all the way to GZA. for two years now Ive been lucky enough to see two amazing superjams. Im excited for this years 2 different superjams!
dont worry man! people like him like to judge others on the way they look and their decisions in life. He should be grateful that such a gathering of quality musicians are getting together like this!
Questlove paying respect to the one only one....! check out his T-shirt. ..! And Eric Leeds in the house.... Mad house....! is that Jesse johnson on guitar...?
As much as I loved the D'Angelo set, and I was pretty fucking stunned to see him walk out on stage, the John Paul Jones Superjam he did in 2007 was out of this world.
+william parker Which in turn James Brown lifted from Miles Davis, 'So What'. A lot of mileage from a riff written by the master of elegant musical simplicity.
As a musician to a musician I can tell you, you're the one being cheap for not knowing your history. All the musicians in that band you just watched in the video have earned their stripes and are even legends in their own rights. Why do you think their playing so much Prince covers? Only stick to your opinion if you know what you're talking about. If not, don't have an opinion at all. This also is directed at Jason Woods, since Kendra Foster has been touring alongside greats and is D'angelos fav
The only man that can release two albums total over the span of damn near 20 years and still remain relevant.
Wait up ... was it not three?
@@moonsofourmother2815 He commented seven years ago...now it's three over the course of TWENTY-SIX YEARS

D'Angelo smiling onstage again is the best thing I've seen in forever. Tears in my eyes.
so real.
You can tell Dangelo studied the hell out of Prince. From the band members to covering the original version of The Latest Fashion. I always admired Dangelo for that . And he’s authentic. He didn’t wait until after Prince died to show love for his hero.
Yes he did.

I have all the respect in the world for these cats because they've always stayed true to who they are and they have so much love for their craft. I have THAT MUCH MORE respect because they said a little prayer before they went out and rocked an obviously packed house. That's what's up.
So cool that they covered an obscure Prince song. He had so many great ones....
pure 80's PRINCE and the Revolution people right down to his saxaphonist Eric Leeds

Yeah, a lot of casual Prince fans won't recognise this tune because he wrote it for the Time's "Pandemonium" album.

"Artists are the vanguard of society" Dr Cornel West
that sax solo where everyone sat out gave me chills
The synchronized jump between D and his guitarist got me hype
I'm craving more live D'Angelo after seeing him perform at London's Hammersmith Apollo. This video just shows the extraordinary talent that D and this band of talented musicians possess. Not forgetting Kendra Foster who is the most mesmerising backing singer I have ever seen. Thank you for posting
