    What laundry bags do you use? I make sure to brush and spot clean before putting the liners into a regular mesh laundry bag. This has helped to prevent a lot of hair and debris from getting into the washer...however I am worried about heavier debris that is unseen getting into the washer over time. I have looked at a couple of pet washing machine bags but the reviews haven't been supportive.
    Thank you for your help and I absolutely love your products! It's made my life so much easier and the ladies are way happier and cleaner because of them. :)

    • @GuineaDad
      @GuineaDad  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Samii :) Thanks for checking out our video! Because GuineaDad Liner was made to be extremely absorbent, once the liner gets too big it does not wash as well. After experimenting we decided to make the 2x4 as the biggest. Instead of having one big 2x5 liner, I found that having 2x3 and 2x2 is easier to spot clean as well! If you make 2x2 area dedicated kitchen area and put the hang the hay box on that end, you can clean up all the hay by taking that smaller liner and slide all the waste into the garbage can. poop is extremely easy to clean with the electric sweeper I often show in our videos :)

    Hey so I'm considering buying your liners.
    But I don't have a dryer...
    I do have a line outside.
    I don't know if you you know but how long do they take to dry straight from the washer?
    Why is it bad to hang them on the line? If it's just fading that's okay by me.
    Also, if you leave them unwashed after being used, for a week does that damage them? (I.e could I go down to the landremat every few weeks and do a big wash and dry)
    Thank you in advance!

    • @GuineaDad
      @GuineaDad  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can air dry, but should do it indoor away from direct sunlight to prevent possible heat damage. I used to do that too (do it in loads) in Chicago, and didn't really do anything to the liner. However, I can see that pre-soak would help a lot if the liner is old.

If so, is it ok if the white distilled vinegar gets into my other things as well? Thanks, and I love your liners!

    I bought your bedding product this time.
    So it's time to do the first laundry.
    I would like to ask you one thing.
    The guinea pig's hairs are heavily buried in the blanket before putting it in the laundry.
    Do you recommend removing these hairs and washing them or putting them in a washing machine without removing them?

    I purchased two of your liners. But there's a spot my guinea pig use all the time and its a stain. It's very hard to get out. Are there any tips or advice to remove deep hard rough stain.?

    Is it ok to use the pet laundry helper? In the washing machine

      Is that like a mesh bag to capture the hair? I've heard some people use that to success as well.

    Can you make an extra large one for the big 7x2 c & c we have to use to and they try to get under one

      We have actually considered and prototyped 2x5, 2x6, and bigger sizes Hi! 👋 We have actually considered and prototyped 2x5, 2x6, and bigger sizes but decided to not go forward with it because of the maintenance issues. Although we halted the production of the bigger liners, we are actually thinking about accepting customized sizes and designs in the future. Don't worry - in the event we start accepting customized orders, you'd be the first to know if you follow our newsletter at guineadad.com! For your 7x2 C&C cage, you may go with (1) 4x2 C&C and (1) 3x2 C&C to occupy the entire cage. 😉

    The white distilled vinegar doesn’t add a scent to the liner?

    How often do you recommend changing out the liners?

    • @GuineaDad
      @GuineaDad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on how many guinea pigs you have and how big the cage is, but most people seem to do laundry once a week.

    Question, if I where to buy just one and wash it every week, how long do you think it would last before it’s been washed out?

      Like if I wash the same one every week, would it wear out overtime?

    could you just hang it up to dry, if the person is worried about ruining it by accident, if you have extras to use while you wait?

      Hello, you can but please try to avoid direct sun or any other source of high heat when drying.
