I met this bearded guy as i was walking out of the portrait gallery, he was drawing and writing poetry on the pavement, i sat with him for a good hour and we talked.. most people were just passing by walking over his art on the pavement, not even noticing. I found him the most insightful, friendly and beautiful person i had probably ever met.. we so desperately need more people like him 💗💗💗

I actually started crying when this man authentically shared that he couldn’t find anything that could make him happy and talking about loving being in love. We as a society are so afraid of just being with what is inside of us in the present. We will dismiss an absence of happiness in others because it’s hard to just be with it. Notice he didn’t say he was miserable or sad. He just said there was an absence of happiness in that moment. So real. It helped me accept the absence of happiness in my emotional self today too. I had a little cry and now feeling a lot better.

I actually started crying when this man authentically shared that he couldn’t find anything that could make him happy and talking about loving being in love. We as a society are so afraid of just being with what is inside of us in the present. We will dismiss an absence of happiness in others because it’s hard to just be with it. Notice he didn’t say he was miserable or sad. He just said there was an absence of happiness in that moment. So real. It helped me accept the absence of happiness in my emotional self today too. I had a little cry and now feeling a lot better.
