Celebrities, mostly manifactured (many times absolutely talentless) icons to influence people to follow this or that trend, make me feel like the ordinary people's intelligence and kindness is being downplayed, and they're treated like little toddlers while the arts and sciences are bestowed to these useless, eye-catching characters that can't create anything of value. Fuck em man, let's have a toast to real, everyday men and women! The age of change is here, let's use it wisely. Let's not believe the hype of these divinized good-at-nothings! It's all they've got

Curly haired waistcoat guy was a very impressive young man. Very honest with himself and with you, Pablo, and very thoughtful and reflective. A great way of looking at the world. It's really impressive how you get people to be so reflective on the spot and on camera and make them think deeply about themselves and open up. It can't just be that they have all been thinking these thoughts and just waiting for someone to ask the right questions to reveal these thoughts, so I really must commend your skill as an interviewer. In fact, I'd say it's more like watching a therapist at work !

Xavier X What on Earth are you talking about? Have never heard of the Roman Warm Period? How about dendrochronology? What about the ACTUAL EVIDENCE about the amount of carbon in the atmosphere, being gathered from the ice cores from those very glaciers that you’re wetting your diaper over.
Are you aware that one of the sources of future carbon release is the permafrost in the sub Arctic regions? How the hell do you believe ANY vegetation ever grew there - if it was ALWAYS FROZEN???
I have no idea where you get your ridiculous beliefs from, but I rely upon FACTS. If you want to rely upon myths and agenda fuelled narratives that bear no relation to the facts, that’s your choice. But if you want to be honest with yourself, you will fact check those narratives against the empirical data.
And don’t come back here calling others “idiot” until you have done some proper research. Otherwise, guess who is the actual idiot.

Wow that split second calculation is amazing! I've heard a lot about this Ethiopian way of doing maths. Unfortunately the rest of the continent of Africa, which was called "Ethiopia" suffered from colonization and a lot (culture etc) was destroyed as a result. That little piece of land that still retained the name Ethiopia was the only one that was not colonised, no wonder they still have the black way of doing mathematics. So, no wonder many Africans are poor in maths. I always wondered why it is so. It's because they are taught the wrong way and NOT their way. Tbh generally black people have their own way of doing things (DIVERSITY).
In my opinion, this thing of pushing the Western life on them is making them confused and messes up with their DNA. The Western way of doing things is alien to them.

You should look into blacks kings of Egypt. In all the museums in England all of the Egyptian statues have had their noses removed as they were clearly carvings of Nubian people. During a time where slave trade was focused on black people not being intelligent if it were to get out that they were far superior to what we were achieving in the 18th century then a lot of people would have lost a lot of money (in the slave trade) - the Sphinx had a black nose until we used it for bombing practise in the war (was that the real reason)

education is always biased & not always truthful , British history in particular is jingoistic , desperate to make the children proud of their past . It’s up to the academics to find the true story , which wasn’t on their teachers syllabus & which was all you needed to pass exams as a school child . Even as intelligent adult is always painful to discover your country’s murky past & to pass on your scepticism to others . Teachers are badly paid , overworked & not encouraged to go beyond their given task.

Hang on, how do you compare that the scientists etc in history who were living in a predominantly white indigenous land and people of colour from other places. Its not a matter of racism just of place. There are many people of colour who have contributed to society and yes they need to be acknowledged in the rich tapestry of life.

The guy waffling on about slavery has no freaking idea what he’s talking about, the colour of skin has nothing at all to do with slavery if the gentleman wants to research past the slavery of coloured people he would have discovered that white people were slaves way before those of colour, just because you have a darker skin does not give you the right to bring up the racist card every time you are asked a question about history, it’s bull shite, they are racist against themselves for calling themselves coloured, they are human beings, teach kids humanity not colour of skin.

A pertinent point regarding Christopher Columbus discovering a place that need not have been discovered to the detriment of the inhabitants. If people thought more about the system in operation around them then I feel we would be closer as a human race. Again, a gentle but powerful thought provoking production which opens up a plethora of opinion. From strength to strength!

I watched a video of the founder of Greenpeace on ER and I agree with him about them. Perhaps she's not the best representative of the group. I'm sorry but couldn't you have found some people with something to say that we haven't heard before from the middle class? Some ordinary working Londoners who are up against it? People who have something to say that challenges or is unsettling but based in lived experience? This was just banal. . And what was the truth that they aren't telling us?

  • @bobjary9382
    @bobjary9382 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Yes mate. We are told a convenient story, the story that the people who managed a successful power grab, land grab, money grab have concocted to satisfy their egos to keep people subjugated to paper over the truth.
I watched Exterminate All The Brutes' a lot of it I knew some I didn't but the thing that I'd not seen before is the whole story put together. Not just black people taken but what happens to the country that suddenly has its strongest its wise its heads its tribal leaders stolen, how would all those places have faired if that hadn't happened. Oh so much I knew but never considered how each event rang out in every direction... That made me sit up wake up
    Watch it.
    All of it
Its not easy but it's got to be done
