Having lived for many years in Berlin and also a frequent traveller to China, I feel you! Everytime I return from China, this is what I feel too! And yes, the airport in Berlin is a joke. BTW: the pink pipes are there because of construction work. Berlin is built on wet land and when you build a new building, you have to pump a lot of ground water out. This is transported away using the pink pipes. So they are not permanent 🙂.

Come to America to see architecture: colorful tent cities filled with fentanyl addicts. Another American attraction is our fine, thick, high quality toilet paper.
