Honestly don’t feel like you have to get to main story missions whenever you’re playing. Some of the best parts of this game are just exploring everything the world has to offer. Go out and enjoy
HERE's A TIP >> TO IMPROVE YOUR AIM >> Pause The Game >> Go To "Settings" >> Go to "Controls" >> Change the Aiming Controls for "Lock-on Mode (on Foot)" from "Narrow" to "Wide".
Two things that sorta make me nuts..your hat is always in your saddle bag..and second, horses have stats, some are better than others..poor Reek is one of the worst breeds in the game.
HERE'S A TIP >> DO NOT HUNT ANIMALS WITH YOUR PISTOLS >> It takes too many bullets to kill a wild animal with a pistol, so you end up ruining the quality of their pelts. Always use a rifle or bow & arrow to hunt... so you can get better quality skins & make more money in the long run.
To fast travel from anywhere, you need to set up camp first. And then it will give you the option to fast travel. And after fights like you did up in the mountains, you need to loot loot loot everybody. That's the best way to stock up on ammo, tonics for you and your horse, etc. Also, a tip for wolves: you don't have to shoot them if you dont want to engage. Just keep running and they'll eventually stop chasing you.
Adison, I’m sad I missed it b/c I love these RD2 streams! 😭A couple of things tho…I know this game is huge but please don’t try to rush through the missions. The game is full of cool side missions and you could’ve gone to St. Denis if you wanted to. You do NOT have to do back to back missions. You can take the train to different places, hunt legendary animals. So much to do. ALSO, St. Denis has the best clothes, best barber, the best horses, take your time to explore there. Now a couple of TIPS: - TRAPPER: you don’t need that dude’s coat, you can buy a bear coat since you killed a bear! There is an option to BUY at the Trapper, not just sell. - FENCE: You keep saying you need money when you can just go to a Fence and sell the stuff you looted. You can also buy dynamite and whatever else you need there! - SATCHEL: Check your satchel for pamphlets so you can make weapons and also any MAPS. Some maps are treasure maps! - MAPS: There should be a map for Legendary Animals in your satchel. You can hunt them in your spare time. You can also visit a gunsmith to buy correct weapons. - WATERFALL: That waterfall you slipped on, you can explore BEHIND the waterfall. I think you can actually find something there. Anyway fun stream. I hope to catch the next one :)
Definitely seeing the progess! Still gotta work on keeping up with the more tedious stuff, like eating, hunting, gathering, taking care of yourself and your horse (no more punching!). This is one of those rare games where everything is important and fairly realistic. And PLEASE study the animals and hunt with the bow and arrow lol
Only 1 hour and 30 minutes in, but Adison you should sell that gold bar for 500 bucks if you still have it, it'll be really useful to get that cash, especially if you go to saint denis so you can enjoy everything without worrying about money ! 👍
You should look on the map more often because you're just riding past missions that make youre honour go higher + if the mini map is white it means there's a mission
Addy, you need to learn how to hunt better by reading the Progress/Compendium in the menu. You keep being handed over 3* animal but get 1* after poor hunting techniques. As for beating the game tonight, you have a LONG way to go! Even if you played continuously, 24 hrs, it would still take you a few days.
Google locations to find gold bars if you want money and there are also some hidden weapons in the game outside of strawberry in Big valley there are some cool cabins and a ranch you can also look into
When it comes to Blackwater, it’s best to leave. There is no way to win there and no way to pay the bounty for that location. The only reason to be there is to see Javier, and even then you need to tread carefully.
Ayo, I'm loving these gameplay videos, Champ... but I have some bad news... and some advice. Take it or leave it. THE BAD NEWS >> Sorry Bruh, but your current horse is TRASH.... Don't bother wasting your time trying to bond with it, or level it up. Trust me. THE ADVICE >> There are MUCH better horses that predators won't scare easily... so they won't buck you off easily... or run away & leave you STRANDED during a heated gun battle. Go Get yourself a horse that is FIT for an Outlaw like Arthur. You will notice a BIG difference very quickly. Different stables (in different towns) sell different horse breeds. As the story progresses, more horses become unlocked at different stables. - Get a War Horse that will STAND ON BUSINESS. - Or get a Thorougbred that RUNS LIKE THE WIND. - Or get a BIG, muscular Work Horse BUILT FOR ACTION. Do yourself a favor & get a different Horse Breed, like one of these listed below: - Turkomans (The Fastest War Horse) - Hungarian Half-Bred (War Horse) - Dutch Warmblood (Work Horse) - Andalusian (War Horse) - Ardennes (War Horse) - Thorougbred (Race Horse) - Criollo (Multi-Class) - Arabian (Superior Horse) - Missouri Fox Trotter (Race+Work Horse) - Mustang (War+Work Horse) - Nakota (Race Horse) - Shire (Draft Horse) - Breton Horse (Multi-Class) - Belgian Draft Horse (Draft Horse) - American Paint (Work Horse) - American Standardbred (Race Horse) - Appaloosa (Work Horse) If you want to have a BETTER gaming experience in RDR2... start with a BETTER horse. The rest will take care of itself. Just saying
@@tg689 - Notice how intelligent people NEVER complain about using their brain cells. Only people who struggle badly with reading complain about "how long" a TH-cam comment is... or "how long" it took to write.
HERE'S A TIP >> Go BUY a RIFLE for hunting purposes. Using a RIFLE is one-shot/one-kill. You get MUCH better quality pelts using RIFLES because you don't have to pump multiple bullets into animals you hunt. Use a REPEATER to kill multiple HUMAN enemies. Because REPEATERS have faster reload times than RIFLES & they hold a lot of bullets without reloading.
Repeaters are good for foxes and coyotes etc. Use varmint rifle for rabbits and raccoons and such. Use small animal arrows for squirrels, rats, birds etc. And remember to switch your aiming mode to lock on in a wide angle
I’m new here so ion know how this guy operates but damn all I see In the comments is people telling him what to do, idk if he likes tips and getting told how to play so excuse me if I’m just chatting but damn let the man figure some stuff out lol
I'm usually on the live stream and he is figuring stuff out. But he's always saying he wants to hunt animals, asking about more money, wanting to get better so we're just giving tips because it's easy to miss things in the game. By this point most people visit the fence to sell things and buy ammo. I don't think we've even done that because of too many distractions in the game.
@@marius8921 I agree with you. It's overwhelming to be bombarded with so many tips. But at the same time, in this stream he kept mentioning some things like money or St. Denis, he can do those things right now. He was also trying to steal some dude's fur coat when he can get a bear one at the trappers. If I make the next stream I'll just be telling him b/c it's easier Live and he does appreciate the tips.
@@Stephie_L yeah ofcourse, but some stuff in St. Denis is locked until he progresses further. And simple clarifying tips is fine ofcourse, its just when people tell him abt 3 star pelts n stuff + upgrading his satchel when he doesnt even know abt Pearsons leather tools n stuff. I personally love it seeing new players learn through failure. Hope to catch you in the next stream 😄
@@marius8921 Same, that's also why I'm not down for this "honour" system. The pettier/ the messier, the better....so I'm banking on the NPC's and Adison's rage haha. I know why people think it's important to stay "good", but it kills a lot of the fun. About the upgrades, I hope the game will walk him through hunting properly for the 3 star pelts just cause I want to see him wear the skins. I also hope he doesn't rush through the missions and does more hunting/ exploring because on my play through I was so mission focused that I missed out on a few side quests :( - Anyway, hope to catch the next stream if it's early! :)
I don't know if anybody told you but you can only craft garments from PRISTINE pelts and skins. Shooting them multiple times or with the wrong weapon or otherwise not getting a clean fell with ruin the pelt. Legendary animal pelts cannot be ruined. You can hunt them with dynamite
You seem to handle dem grizzlies quite nicely but them gators seem to be your kryptonite. Get them lizzards and fry them up they can't hurt you in your stomach
You can see animals, collectable plants and all kinds of loot highlighted through eagle eye. Watching your playthrough makes me want to say you know nothing Addison Snow
Didn't anybody in the chat tell you you can't go to Blackwater. That is the exact town that you had the incident in just before the game starts. That's why you have an unpayable bounty. You cannot pay it until the game story progresses
Fr bro his chat always lets him down during the streams😂when he was tryna shave and get a haircut i was like why is nobody telling him to go to a barber??
Use cover in them gunfights. You pop out your head or whole body too much. Also dual wielding a revolver in one hand and a sjotgun in the other isn't good, they have such difference in range. Pick up another revolver
I was cracking up when I saw you thought you might beat the game tonight. I was like man you have NO idea how much there is left to go. 😂
Bro has a whole rifle in his hand.
"I cant go into the house of the Lord??
I know its a game but that's insane. Aint bro supposedly Christian?

If you aim a weapon in it should AUTO LOCK ON to enemies! Manual aiming is too much effort and will get you killed sometimes
