    My son's was running bad from day 1.... had to have the starter replaced 1 hour after purchase and about a month later i started having "dying at idle" or not starting once it got hot, turned out that the CDI was dying and then died...... all was replaced by the dealer under warranty and havent had a single issue since and that has been over a year ago. So i intiially had some pretty serious buyers remorse but once those 1st month issues were resolved it has performed flawlessly!

    Awesome. Thanks for the follow up video. So, on the carburetor, the float bowl screws didn't have a head? so you made one for a flat tip screwdriver?

      Yeah I took a Dremel and cut a slot in each head

      Correct, even if the carburetor is trash, you can buy it cheaper and better one online

    Have you ever came across oil coming out of clutch cover casing? Around the bolt to adjust? Possibly too much oil?
    Thanks

    Which screw on the carb were you turning to adjust the idle? The one in the middle or the one to the left of it?

      I’m pretty sure it’s the one on the right side

    What kind of battery did you end up using? My son's battery died. Did you get it off amazon?

      I went to AutoZone and found one that fits I don’t recall the exact model but it was 30ish dollars.

    Where does the second hose from the tank connect to?

      I think it’s the pressure release and or over flow.

    • @fubarsnafu82
      @fubarsnafu82  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would start by changing the carb or the jets

    • @johnnyhurtado4292

      For that I have no idea I would look and see if there is a aftermarket community they would be the best bet

      There have been people who change he the filter and remove the spark arrestor and have gotten some better low end torque. You can also replace the front sprocket easily

      Can also try different sprockets, loose a little too end speed but should gain in the lower.
