It's got a hand built twin turbocharged 5.2L V8 pumping out up to 1,300 horsepower and 1,000 foot pounds of torque. In addition to the completely updated powertrain setup, each CODE RED Mustang receives suspension, cooling and aesthetic upgrades. The production run will be limited to 10 GT500s from each of the 2020-2022 production year, 30 units total.

That’s the key discerning factor for me. Driving a performance car is an emotive experience and besides the shove of violent acceleration, nothing excites the senses quite like the demonic engine note of a worked V8.

Glad to finally see this come to fruition- Nelson (nre) built a beautiful setup years back with the dual fuel system- this new model really brings it all together.
We got to look over that car in person 3 years ago in Vegas when all of this started! Very cool build and ahead of its time.
