Thank you so much for this. We actually walk the pipes holding a pipe in the middle of the roll. I dread it every time it’s change out time. One year the wind began to pick up and I thought we were going to lose it all. I agree on the guilt of all that plastic going to the landfill. It kills me. Wish I knew where it could all go but sadly the US has dropped the ball when it comes to recycling efficiently.
Great vid as usual Corey! I too am winterizing down here in Mid Michigan. Remember the gerber daisies from QVC? They were definitely late bloomers and not really zone friendly as I just cut my last bouquet a few days ago (late October). As for what do with them over winter, I’ve read different approaches. Some say a cold but not freezing garage will be ok as long as the pots are wrapped for insulation and get some light. Others say a basement no colder than 50 degrees and no warmer than 60…? Any suggestions?
