Corey, thank you for introducing me to Nicholas' YT channel. I enjoyed this video tremendously! Blessings to both of you. Some of the items I really love using are my Garden Answer kneeling pad (the large one), my Dewalt 60-volt Cement Mixer drill with E clutch, and the Big Knife from Fiskers (it's similar to a Hori Hori knife but much more affordable. I almost forgot to include the augers from Power Planter (the best I've ever found). ~Margie🤗💐
Corey, I'm so glad to see you have Nicolaus on. I've been watching him since he posted his second or third video, love him!!! He is so sweet and kind with so much knowledge. Oh and his greenhouse is gorgeous. He is fun to watch. I really enjoyed this video, getting to see you both. Hoping y'all with have more collaborations. Thanks 😊
Another video where I learned new things! I want to thank you for all the knowledge you share. I found your channel in July and was so excited you’re from MI (my home state). I have been watching all your content and want to thank you for helping me become a more confident gardener and inspiring me to try new things! Looking forward to garden season in Salem, NH. ❤
So happy I found your channel! I feel like the algorithm doesn't offer me all the garden channels! Oh well better late than never. Hi! New subscriber and gardener here. Awesome endorcement! 💙💚💛🧡❤️💜Liz from California
Great video. I have a Hori Hori tool and it’s one of the best gardening tools that I have. We were vegetable gardeners for years and slowly but surly we’ve cut our garden back. The reason being the heat, the watering, and fertilizing. I think this year I’m not planting a vegetable garden. I also grew dahlias for many years till I got hit with diseases and fungus that destroyed my large dahlia garden. I am now focusing on cannas and Hardy hibiscus of different colors and varieties that I now grow and enjoy very much.
I would love to have the two of you for neighbors. Men who love gardening are fabulous! This was a great video. The idea about writing a message on the inside of the lid is genious! You could do that on candles too.
What a joy to watch you both. So funny, I gave my mom the proven winners fertilizer as one of her gifts last year. We remind each other of fertilizer Friday. 🌸🌸🌸
I got a greenhouse for my birthday in Oct (some assembly required!!! LOL) so I would be very interested in placement ideas. The "perfect" placement seems like a myth. No heat in 6b. I will have to stalk Nicholaus!!
There are a lot of things to consider. Anything will be better than no greenhouse at all, but there are a few things to consider. In the industry, it's usually recommended to the structure run east to west so the most amount of sunlight can get in as the sun moves across the sky. If your goal is to use it in the winter or spring, trees that lose their leaves aren't as much of a factor, but evergreens can inhibit the amount of light you'll get. If you have to decide between one corner of the yard or the other, go with the area that gets more morning sun so it can help heat up your greenhouse earlier in the day. ...and stalk Nicholaus because he's going to offer some extra insight!
I’ve used kneeling pads for many years.. the best way to use them is to have TWO. Place the pads side by side. Kneel on one pad and when done with weeding or planting cross over to the second pad. Then move the first pad over to the second pad and continue. Saves from having to stand up each time moving a single pad over. I’ve used the Gardener Supply Seed starting tray for fours years. I have mixed reviews on them. I will continue to use them for many more years but will not order more. I have one Hose Link and three off brand retractable hoses. The off brands were failures but the Hose Link continues to perform well. Since the Hose Link was not 5/8” I was concerned it would not have enough pressure for my garden needs. It works fine with my water nozzle and sprinklers. The Hose Link will work fine for the average suburban home. I have several metal hoses, too and prefer them over the retractable hoses. Light weight and aren’t an eyesore in my landscape. This is just my personal review. I garden on over an acre with most being a woodlot in the back of the house but a normal suburban lawn and landscape streetwise.
Really loved this! You both are great!
I love these gift suggestions and I follow Nicholas too, he’s so fun!

Really enjoyed this video with you two. Thanks for sharing. I love my Giraffe retractable hose.

Always appreciate hearing how things work for other gardeners. Thanks for letting us know what's making the grade for you!
