    The amazon lists a couple versions, they all look like cork but only one model specifically says it is cork. My guess is you bought or they sent one of the faux cork ones but here is supposedly a real cork version that weighs slightly more

    Would these be suitable for using with tarp tents

      It depends on the height you set your tarp . If it’s between 115 cm and 135 cm you will be ok .

    Would you say these are more durable than cabin fiber poles. I’ve blown through two pairs of carbon fiber poles on the John Muir Trail over the last few years and I’m looking for something a bit more durable. Thanks for the review.

      Hi sorry for the late reply. I personally haven’t had much experience with carbon poles but I have a few different alloy poles. I would say the are more durable and a lot cheaper. For this price you carnt go wrong
