      Im not against all those things but I do think the Blakes Profiles are very good for external corners. Great for garages and if you dont want to do the blockwork first

    We always work with profiles. We think all bricklayers in the Netherlands work this way. Greay video !

    These old style ones are fun. the fella I trained under had a set of these and there was only me and him that could set them up. There were always frayed tempers when anyone else tried 😂

      Funny you should say that! When I was a foreman it was only me and maybe one other who could do em too 😂

    first brackets by blakes had a slight bend on the part that was inserted in the joint so that the pressure was exerted behind the face to help prevent spalling of face. Bought mine in 1973 and never looked back.

      I am a massive fan of Blake’s profiles, I think they are the original and the best

    Get yourself a set of fitz brick corner blocks, theyve revolutionised Blake’s profiles 👍

    Still the best profiles you can buy for external corners had mine 23 years use box section everywhere else but for external there the best and you can leave them on at night and finish the pointing if you haven’t finished the wall you are on

    The only thing wrong with that profile was the colour! We're in England how come the profile is grey?

    worst thing about them thing if you leave the muck to go hard the hook can shell the brick nightmare to replace

    • @Tone_Team
      @Tone_Team  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes can damage the brick installing or removing the clip! Best way is make sure they are left when you build the previous lift and make sure they are cleaned out so you don’t have to smash them about to much

      I do like to build the odd corner but keeping a profile nice and straight, gauge etc is also a bit of an art! Most lads nowadays don't know how to even set a profile up which is a shame as the external blakes are very good
