really helpful, i'm a second year and consider myself a slow learner so i like to watch these a couple times so i'm not stressed out when boss asks me to setup profiles or other stuff you've taught
Awesome! This is exactly why we make these videos. To be away from site you're able to access information like in these videos whilst not being under the pressure of work pace or your boss as you pointed out. Thanks for watching!
You are an absolute legend for making this video! I was the one who asked ya for these videos from your last video! Haha I'm so grateful for you going to the effort to make these howto videos. Cheers
No worries Nathan! Thanks for watching!
Probably I will go to Australia next year, right now in my country I am becoming a bricklayer, your videos are like a masterclasses to understand and learning about Australia bricklaying style.
Thank you pal for sharing your knowledge. Keep up your high professionalism.
Good video mate, interesting to see this part of the job.
good content mate , can you do a how to video on how to do a mitred corner? cheers
You are really doing good ❤
Hey mate great video.
I recommend a magnetic level from stabila so much easier setting up on your own
I'd get one! But my current level is still intact!
Awesome videos champ well done ,fantastic job very good bricky cheers
Neat brickie. Question do you have a day off fir rest? See u on sunday etc
Legend
Very good way to work bro
You’re a legend, keep it up
Cheers!

Thanks for watching and glad we could give some more clarity!
great video mate!
basic thinking is almost same to Japan but there is deffelent doing.
I can learn a lotof things from you!
※ In Japan we use plum line from top to grand or, first course instead of steal profiles.
G,day from Sydney.
Plumb your profiles!

Little bit unsure of the details around the garage door. The return inside brick of 230mm. With 10mm Gyprock plasterboard internal and bricks on lintel above garage opening?
💯
Very informative! You are doing a great job with your videos also.
Thanks for that!
Nice vid
Are you in victoria australia boss?
Can't wait for the gauge video, great to learn as a young second year apprentice👍
Also, what are your plans for when you hit 1000 subs?
That’s great to hear! Planning to do a giveaway when we hit 1000 subs and a special video for our viewers.
Good video mate very helpful. I’m planning on moving to aus next year and wouldn’t have a clue how to set these profiles up lol. Usually in U.K. if we use profiles we lay a few courses or build a corner then fix them into the brickwork!
Thanks for that! Have fun here Down Under! This is exactly how it's done here.
We can’t build corners on the houses because the gutter/fascia is already in place so have to set profiles to them. And the windows are already in place too.
If you were building double brick home I’m sure you could build corners
@@dragginmedown yeah it makes sense, once you master setting up the profiles it looks a lot easier too
Great stuff Ty and thank you for your great videos keep them coming 🙂👍
Thanks for that! Plenty coming!
👌 awesome
Awesome video man! really helps a fellow out, I am an apprentice bricklayer here in Canada and learning more and more everyday you're videos are extremely informative and helpful bro! Do you have any tips or tricks to gauging for heights? how to arrive with a flush course above windows and doors? I worked in restauration and learned nearly nothing on new builds for houses. Thanks' bunch and keep up the Videos bro.
Hey there! Thanks for that, we'll be bringing out a video in the future regarding this topic!
My main man! You’re almost at 500 subs!
Also, is it normal to work Sundays down there? We do too, I’m just wondering.
Thanks for that! And no no, normally Saturday. I'm just on a grind atm... hoping to get back to just 5-6 days a week!
Does the profiles pull at bottom when you put line on?
Hey there! In some cases yeah, if the line is over tightened, but for the most part it works normal!
Do u not put lintels in what goes above the doors and windows
Timber infill!
Crazy they don't put exterior sheeting on over there
Where you work mostly bro i also live in victoria and i am a bricklyer but not 100 percent one, no one want to teach bro
Whats the prices down under lol and on average what are you earning if you dunt mind me asking thanks
Hey there! About $1.10-$1.90 depending on where you are in Australia
What does a day work Bricky get paid in oz
Honestly, the answer really depends on a lot of things - what type of work you're doing, rates of the builder, extras, allowances, how many bricks you can lay.
Hi brother
The bottom of the profiles are NOT secure.
هلو هذني اصير أكند مساطر لبخ
I really enjoy ya vids but they get very boring mate set one up then get bricklaying that’s what we wanna see brickwork bro 👍
Hey there! There will be plenty of bricklaying videos to come, we just wanted to make a video for those who were interested in how we set it all up as some don't really get the opportunity to do so onsite. Thanks for watching!
@@bricksbyty Thank you for making this video,I was another person who asked, you replied to me twice and this video definitely helps me get a good view about setting them up
All good! This video covers a major portion of the beginning of the job and what to do when you turn up onsite for the first time!
I find it boring watching people lay haha I do it every day. The how to vids are good
Keep up the how tk videos. Great video. Thanks
This is what bosses don’t want you to know
