Hello everyone! Although I will mostly focus on my own topics this year, there are a few projects I love to highlight, and DROID is one of them! I think the E4 is a good addition to the eco-system, both for small setups, and complex controllers. - Affiliate links: Perfect Circuit - US - bit.ly/3Yn0Gll Sound of You - EU bit.ly/3DzdFYi Clockface - AS - bit.ly/3YkDJ1B
Mic drop by Der Mann on this one, WOW!!! Much more economical and multipurpose than the motor sliders (though those are so cool too). Amazing patches, OMG! Thanks for making this video, the E4 is definitely in my dream droid setup that I'll manifest... one day!
Hello! Glad you like it, and agree the motor sliders are very cool, but this a more efficient way to control the same things. Best wishes for you and your dream setup :)
Something about the graphic design of these controllers reminds me of the puzzle box from Hellraiser, perhaps you might accidentally summon xenomorphs with them. I'm a fan of the more traditional looking Midi Fighter Twister, and I'm thinking of using it with modular via Expert Sleeper modules.
Haha, think you're safe! If you don't want any of DROID's deep patching options and features a midi controller and interface is interesting of course, different feature set though :)
Any chance you'd share that .INI file? I got four E4's thanks to your video. I'd be super interested in learning how to 'select' the current envelope and how to build that amazing sequencer.
Hi there! The .ini files can be donwloaded from my Patreon, and from the modwiggler DROID thread. Hope this link works: modwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4126991#p4126991
Looks like a hack to get around of having no screen on master module (which is huge downside in itself - there is already mature ALM Pamela ecosystem). For some rando exploration might fit, but not for hurry live performance work.
droid is typically a module that you setup in advance, but then dont change unless you want it to do something else (which doesnt come up super often) or a expander comes out that improves whatever workflow you made.
Hello! Indeed, no screen is a good thing. DROID is way to deep to make on the fly changes, you'd need a full-tablet like touch screen, which would still be less easy then then a laptop with DROID Forge. Mostly you set up a patch, controller, or features the way you want it, then use it!

DROID is such a beautiful tool and the E4 makes it overpowered, especially when having 4 copies. Thanks for showcasing this.
It's a beautiful tool indeed, and overpowered isn't a bad thing for it :)
Super OP, dang!

Also I had my hands on the E4 already and used it, this video gives me even more ideas to use it. Great work.
Nice! Glad to hear you enjoy the modules, and the video :)
Very interesting modules
