    I love these classes! I am 49 but have a movement disorder so I follow the way your mom does the exercises, and my mom, who is a healthy 85 year old, does the exercises the way you do them. It's perfect! Thanks so much for creating these user-friendly workouts.

    My husband had a hip replacement a year ago and has been experiencing a lot of muscle pain. I ootched him into doing this session with me and after only two days, he was feeling some relief. It is now about a week of doing the exercises and he is feeling great. Very pleased!

    Another winner, April! I usually hold on to the back of a chair to do these types of exercises, but this time I ventured into not holding on. Needs a bit more practice for a couple of them, but since balance is very important to me--and should be for all--this exercise provides me with the opportunity to practice balance as well--a double bonus! My regards to Aiko...Anastasia

    Hello....I just found this 10-minute hip and leg workout video and your 5 minute upper body one. I am 72+ years old, disabled in parts, and an certified Fitness Instructor of over 32 years (ACE certified). Long story short---I love these 2 short, quick workouts. I will be looking at your other videos as time goes on, but as of today.....I'm in!!. Thank you and your mom

    Hello April and Aiko, I do several of your videos each day, however, I really wish that you could make a 30 minute or so Video, that focuses on the hips and thighs, I am a women in her mid 60’s and I have lost all my top weight however the bottom , and thighs are the worst, I only weigh 133 but because of these areas I feel so big, please consider a longer video, thank you, you both are awesome.🥰

      Hi Mary! First of all, congratulations on losing weight! We will definitely add a 30 minute lower body workout to our list. A note: Your body gains and loses weight where it wants to. Everyone is different and hormones and menopause can affect this as well. Also, we all have different body types. So in your case, it sounds like you lose weight in your upper body first. By staying with a healthy diet and burning calories with exercise, you will lose weight in your lower body too -- it will just take time. By doing lower body exercises you will build muscle there, which will make you stronger and result in shapely legs when you lose fat. Also, muscle burns more calories than fat -- so the more you have, the more calories you'll burn. Thank you so much for spending time with us! We're cheering you on! 🥰

    Can these be done sitting down? I'm on waiting list for anterior hip replacement, but don't want to stop exercising while waiting. We try to do Warm up, Stretching everyday then Resistance/Core alternate days. Hubby does standing & I do sitting. I'm wondering if I could add this one in only sitting instead of standing? Thanks for all you great videos & responses.

    Hi ladies, love your videos, I am a 79 year young female, feel stronger with every daily exercise. My biggest problem is, I can get down to the floor, however, getting back up is very difficult without something to hold on to, is there an exercise I could do to alleviate this problem, I want to plant tulip bulbs but don''t want to embarrass myself outside not being able to get up to a standing position. Hope you can help, please keep these wonderful videos coming.

Here is a link to our video that shows one way to get up and down from the floor. It is fine to hold on to something to get up from and down to the floor -- in fact, it's added safety to do so. To be able to get up from the floor, you need to have strength in your upper body, lower body and core. Great that you're doing the hip & leg workout.       Hi there! If the exercises are easy without weights and you are not sore right after or one or two days after the exercises, you may be ready for more challenge. Using leg weights is a great way to add more resistance to build muscle.

    Hi! So do you have other exercise for the let and especially for the hip...... A new thing for me is pain in my hips when I walk. From what I found on the internet, it is a muscle thing. No rush and thanks!

    Hi April and Mom
    Last year I was told I had spondylosis in my right hip. Also have it in my neck.
    I did hip and leg, gentle knee 10 mins leg and of course the energizer warm up. I still have pain but these exercises are helping. Again thank you.

      Both are great workouts. Rowing is a full body cardio and strength workout that uses 86 percent of the muscles in your body, according to a study from the English Institute of Sport. If walking isn't for you, rowing is an excellent alternative.
