At the end of a day I carried a camera weighting a bit more than 2 pounds and a backpack about 8 pounds, walked for about 5... 6 miles, stopped at the most different positions for taking pictures of an insect under a leaf, for instance, and practiced balance on public transport (it´s not everyone who respects seat for 65+), I have the clear evidence your exercises are very effective. These few months since I discovered your channel feel my resistence has improved a lot. I always used to walk but now I can feel that exercises are fundamental. I feel much more flexibility while photographing that is my favourite activity. I guess that going on this way I will be as strong as your Mom, who is a great inspirer. You can be sure I will keep moving!! Thanks!!!!

This 20 minute routine is perfect on days that don't permit a longer strength or cardio session. I used the heaviest weights I could depending on the particular move and certain weaker parts of my body. Rest assured that I exceed the reps in most of the moves, leaving me feel as though I did something of value on this day of truncated exercise. Hi April and Aiko. You always seem to have what I need. I was watching my almost 3 yr old grandson on Tuesday. We were playing, I was lifting him up, and yesterday, my lower back got me. I did this workout, using 5 & 8 lbs weights and I guess it helped to loosen my back. You have some kind of magic! This was short, and effective for what I needed. Thanks ever so much!❤❤

Here's the question: in order to increase the challenge with last week's workout with the pilates ball, can we use a weighted ball? The request is this, would you mind uploading a shoulder stability workout using pilates ball please !! Thank you in advance ❤
Hi there! Great question! Adding a weighted ball can increase the challenge and intensity of the Pilates ball workout, helping to build additional strength and stability. But for exercises that focus on controlled movements, such as the side to side pass, a heavier ball can shift the focus toward strength rather than mobility, which may slightly change the original intent of the exercise. If you use a weighted ball, start with a light one (around 1-3 pounds), as even a small increase in weight can make a big difference. Also, pay close attention to form-keeping movements slow and controlled-to prevent strain, especially around the shoulders and wrists. And as always, listen to your body and adjust as needed. Let us know how it goes and how you feel after trying it with the added weight! 👏😻 P.S. We'll add a shoulder stability workout with a pilates ball to our list of videos to create. Hi there! Since this is a full body strength workout, I recommend doing it two to three times a week with a day of rest in between sessions. The rest time allows your body to recover and build muscle. You can also combine this workout with other strength and/or cardio workouts on a specific day. ❤️

At the end of a day I carried a camera weighting a bit more than 2 pounds and a backpack about 8 pounds, walked for about 5... 6 miles, stopped at the most different positions for taking pictures of an insect under a leaf, for instance, and practiced balance on public transport (it´s not everyone who respects seat for 65+), I have the clear evidence your exercises are very effective. These few months since I discovered your channel feel my resistence has improved a lot. I always used to walk but now I can feel that exercises are fundamental. I feel much more flexibility while photographing that is my favourite activity. I guess that going on this way I will be as strong as your Mom, who is a great inspirer. You can be sure I will keep moving!! Thanks!!!!

This 20 minute routine is perfect on days that don't permit a longer strength or cardio session. I used the heaviest weights I could depending on the particular move and certain weaker parts of my body. Rest assured that I exceed the reps in most of the moves, leaving me feel as though I did something of value on this day of truncated exercise. Hi April and Aiko. You always seem to have what I need. I was watching my almost 3 yr old grandson on Tuesday. We were playing, I was lifting him up, and yesterday, my lower back got me. I did this workout, using 5 & 8 lbs weights and I guess it helped to loosen my back. You have some kind of magic!

Hi there! Great question! Adding a weighted ball can increase the challenge and intensity of the Pilates ball workout, helping to build additional strength and stability. But for exercises that focus on controlled movements, such as the side to side pass, a heavier ball can shift the focus toward strength rather than mobility, which may slightly change the original intent of the exercise.
If you use a weighted ball, start with a light one (around 1-3 pounds), as even a small increase in weight can make a big difference. Also, pay close attention to form-keeping movements slow and controlled-to prevent strain, especially around the shoulders and wrists. And as always, listen to your body and adjust as needed. Let us know how it goes and how you feel after trying it with the added weight! 👏😻 P.S. We'll add a shoulder stability workout with a pilates ball to our list of videos to create. I was surprised with this video. I thought it was going to be very easy and no challenge! It was east - but definitely a challenge! Is there a reason to go slow doing some of these reps v. going faster? Thanks for the videos - the two of you are an inspiration and always make me want to come back for more!

Hi there! Since this is a full body strength workout, I recommend doing it two to three times a week with a day of rest in between sessions. The rest time allows your body to recover and build muscle. You can also combine this workout with other strength and/or cardio workouts on a specific day. ❤️
