@What_My_Lens_Sees Those were definitely the prettiest cutthroat trout I've ever caught. Not the biggest, but I think i'd rather take these ones haha. It's usually an epic day when we make the deep trek back to this lake, glad we went...About to head off deep into the Mesa again, about to start loading up the car...Full team going camping until Sunday evening, Tight Lines! Caught some absurdly fat hook jaws and female browns, you'll love it!! Got my PB Brown for weight by far! I'm doing nothing but editing and getting caught up on my supporters videos today! I'll be checking your stuff out for sure! This lake is great, it's a quality lake and not a quantity. @@teamcoff hopefully thatd be great! I have a herniated disk which kinda makes things hard for me right now, looking into getting some back surgery but definitely hoping for a fast recovery to get out there!
@@1slowvdub101 If anyone feels your pain on that it's me! I had a bad herniation last Summer that jammed into my nerves going up my spine, and it made my left leg stop working after trying to tough it out for a few days. I had to get emergency surgery...I opted for a more expensive surgeon but he did a tremendous job and I am 100% Recovered with no weakness or pain...I feel it never even happened. If I were you get that taken care of when you can! Best of luck bro!!

you guys need to get on that fly fishing... when the conventional lures aren't working, i usually get the cutties on the fly more
@David Le We recorded the first episode last night actually!! Explanation of our setups, some casting practice and then fishing. I was fortunate enough to land 4 species my first time out and Sam and I both doubled up for our first fly fish. Heading out to go camp for the whole weekend shortly, bringing the fly gear😁 Tight lines bro and thanks for tuning in!!!

We were joking about that the entire drive up...It was a crazy fortunate day...That lake is REALLY TOUGH, never can get more then a few each so it was nice. Great thing is though, every fish in that lake looks amazing! I'll have to keep a lookout next time for that. You really have shown me how amazing that stuff is!!

Hey! you should do what I do! Run a USB cable to a powerbank. You will have power all day for it to record. Set the gopro on looping so it records the last 5 minutes you want it to save.(never miss a hookset) You probably already know this but ill mention it anyways lol (your gopro is no longer water resistant though)

Those were some gorgeous cutthroat! I hope you guys get into the grayling! In my opinion they are one of the prettiest fish you can catch. Especially the males. They have a purple iridescent sheen to them that's impossible to capture on film.
@Opportunity Fishing Definitely not close to my biggest but easily the prettiest cutthroats i've ever caught. I was ecstatic to get them, especially the one with the net lol. We went for them recently and had great success! Landed into several trophy ones! On my list to catch tigers and the native cutty. Been wanting to try that dynamic pattern but they’ve been out of them lately. Probably order them online
@SkyWalker22 Ya I found out about them right when they released and bought a bunch, sad thing is, i've broken off 3 already lol. Got into some BIG BROWNS recently when we were camping, part one of that is Thursday. Lots of places on the Mesa have the cuttys. Tigers are a little harder to find, at least big ones. Where did tiger trout originate from????? The native trout are slowly dieing off in parts of America. Water levels and too much persistent fishing seasons after seasons.

Team CO.F.F. The Cutthroats do light up when you take ‘em out. I did it too, it’s irresistible... something primal within us just wants to know that if we didn’t have poles, reels, lines, and lures/bait... could we trap one in a survival situation? It still takes some Jedi Ninja patience and reaction. Keep up the Epic Content, really enjoying it!

@Ash M Glad you enjoyed the video! Sorry just a channel policy of ours, we don't advertise lakes unless they're 4 or 5 on the popularity chart...and even then we don't if they're up in the mountains. Just a respect thing for the locals in those areas and also to not blow up spots. Tight Lines!!!

Tiger trout is a really pretty fish looks like it should be named a leopard trout to me though lol
@jono's bass fishing lol My GF and I have said the same thing, def looks more like a leopard. Wish I could've gotten into one, they fight like crazy!
@@teamcoff I dont have any experience with trout other then small rainbows but rainbows didnt particularly impress me with how hard they fight, but they hit it really hard sometimes
@@Jonosbassfishing One of these days i'll have to get you into some big brown trout or other aggressive trout species. They fight like crazy, especially out of the rivers. Sam had her dragged stripping for almost 30 seconds straight the other day.

@Sam Lucas Hey Sam! Sorry for the late reply, we headed out early Friday to go camping and got back last night!! Can't wait to show that footage, epic weekend. The cuts in there are probably in spawn or post spawn at this point...They're all a little different in each lake up there but at this time specifically some were ready and others were still in prespawn it seemed. The two lakes we were at both had cuttys in them and you could see millions of fry all around the lakes.

@fishing the ohio I was pretty pumped LOL. Remy couldn't believe it! It literally swam right into the net and into the siding. Our first time fishing for them was last weekend and we got some trophy ones! We'll have that video out Tuesday or Thursday next week😀😀😀
