As it stands we'll just have to pray that Le Bris makes a huge impact and gets the best out of what he's got cos as it stands from a striker situation and defensive situation he's got his work cut out, hasn't been backed very well so far but he's clearly ok with it so we'll just have to hope he does the job well, best of luck Regis 👍🔴⚪🔴⚪
RLB and the LADS have only said positive words and they will deliver good results, but these will be greater when KLD loosens the purse strings & gets serious €£ on the table for Mendy & two others, one a proven goalscorer & a strong centre back like KONE. We need 30 more goals to have a big chance this year. As RLB said to AJIE don't let the opposition score goals. That said, a fully fit Dennis Cirkin & Patrick Roberts could do 5 each minimum as can JOBE, BIG DAN, LITTLE DAN, BROWNIE, TRAI, O9, AJIE and to be honest all of them could, its about believing. Let's start 24/25 with Cardiff 1: Sunderland 2
Some really stupid comments on here. You want the owners out? Before KLD arrived we were stuck in league 1 with a clapped-out squad that was worth nothing. In his and Speakman’s first full year we got promoted. In their second we made the playoffs. Last year we fell away but we still have the youngest squad in the Championship with virtually every single player worth more than we paid for them. The club isn’t in debt. We’re in better shape than we have been for the better part of ten years. Obviously, we need a striker. Wait until the end of the transfer window to moan about that, and in the meantime, have a word with yourselves.
Seems very focused and astutely aware of the gaps we have in the team. His ethos and approach is humble yet convicted. If the club doest give him a striker after the joke that's been the last 2 seasons then them lot need to go. Yeah fair play kept our assets but at what point are you going to actually spend on a striker. It's seriously beggar's belief. I'm still sure this is a business model built for short term profit and not long term success. All on free or a chancing whim. Nobody gets to the prem like that.... No proven striker in 2 seasons 😂😂😂😂 it's honestly hilarious these are in charge of the club.... And he's supposedly a billionaire....I've said it before put your mummy's purse away and let someone with some proper clout have a stab.... Call Short what you want but at least he had the money even if it was terribly spent.
Why do you say he sounds as sick as f*** ? He is still learning the language, he's still coming to terms with the team and the strengths and weaknesses of the team . Give him a chance 🤔🤔👍😡
Surely Speakman has recruited a very young and talented squad. We lack a striker for sure - the squad is exciting. Recruitment has been excellent in the last 3 years. I think Pavedo and Browns are smart moves!
@birtlee2078 I wouldn't call it excellent by any stretch. Think far too many of them have either proven already that they're not up to this level or maybe they'll come good in a year or 2
@@safcdean7374 But we were midtable League 1 with a squad value of less than a million when Speakman walked through the door! We now have a squad value of approx. 100 million having spent very little. If that’s not good recruitment I’m not sure what is!!! PS I hope you’re views aren’t influenced by all the clueless fans who know nothing about football
@birtlee2078 I've supported this club for 46 years, nobody influences my thoughts. I'm not denying there have been successes but there's been a hell of a lot of duds too. Last season as an example.
@@safcdean7374 Speakman is buying young unproven player for virtually nothing - not all will turn into 10/20 million pound players. He also brought in three strikers in Stewart, Simms and Broadhead who are top strikers and Amad. That is top class recruitment considering where we were! Why can’t we just be positive when someone does a good job!
Like the sound of him. On another note, kld, either show some ambition and some genuine intent by getting you're hand in you're pocket. If you cant do that to a level that at least competes with championship rivals, sell up. The club is too big for you if you can't compete with clubs like Coventry, who now have simms (who we should of signed) haji wright, godden and asanate as proven championship strikers, we have no championship strikers. @@charlesmarshall1309 ridiculous for wanting some ambition. How dare I eh, how dare I want us to be able to compete with average championship sides? I love Le Bris. He oozes competence, intelligence, a sympathic demeanor, great motivational and relational skills.

Ktf Sunderland till I die 👍😁
The striker situation is embarrasing, the manager must be very angry and rightfully so.
When are we getting a striker.
Talk's well let's see what happens on the pitch

If only we had 2 strikers 😂
