Also, Prince Maxon wouldn't just throw a glass on the stairs. He is a well mannered person. As I have scene the other scenes from The Selection pilot, Maxon doesn't know Aspen's name until The One where he and Kriss catches America talking to Aspen in front of her door which then, Maxon asks for Aspen's name. Next, America doesn't ask Maxon to leave her room and the knee on the groin thing was a joke, not an insult. Lastly, there is a scene where America runs into the forest when the rebels come. I mean, a random girl didn't tell her to run, IT WAS THE GUARDS in the book ( I think ) . PS. I think the producers didn't read on the book. They shouldn't change the story. Through this promo, it seems like the producers twisted the whole story and did not base it with the real novel which is a work of art.

It's got a lot of scenes stolen from Reign, which is a tv show on the CW based in the 1500s about Queen Mary and King Francais(It's actually my favorite tv series I've ever watched). Sorry to disappoint (or to not dissapoint in some of your cases). Who knows if they will actually make a movie for The Selection series? It's my favorite series ever, so they better! And guys. It even says it's not real in the description. 😅

I'll be first to admit I've never read the books so please don't be too hard on me. But I've read the description and the character profiles and one thing I read unless my eyes deceived me is that the events takes place 300 years into the future but this looks like it takes place...right now in 2015. If this is supposed to take place hundreds of years into the future shouldn't they give the audience a scenery that depicts that futuristic look and same goes for the wardrobe of the characters I get it's not easy getting things right because nobody knows how people will dress in the future but shouldn't they have made an effort at least?
I know u haven't read the books but even though its like 300 years in the future everything has changed. It's way after the 4th world war and like they've decided to have the crown and a system. So yeah.. But like they have phones, Tvs, (few computers), cars, planes... And like everything.... But it's much more like the old times with enhanced technology. (I'm not angry just so you know... I totally agree. I want the red haired America. The cute, dorky, and I thought he was blonde, Maxon. And his voice sounded way too commanding. I don't know how to expect his voice but it for sure would be anything close to that. I think a movie would be a WAY better idea for this book. The tv show would have ruined the books for me and I love the books so much. I'm so glad they didn't make this tv show. But I still want a movie. But with an entirely new cast.

I'd like to see a movie of "The Selection", but in a right way and not that you wonder where they found the actors and you only can guess from which book it's adapted. AND no actors who still look like they'd bte wanna-be adults with no personality and expressions in their faces...

I'll be first to admit I've never read the books so please don't be too hard on me. But I've read the description and the character profiles and one thing I read unless my eyes deceived me is that the events takes place 300 years into the future but this looks like it takes place...right now in 2015. If this is supposed to take place hundreds of years into the future shouldn't they give the audience a scenery that depicts that futuristic look and same goes for the wardrobe of the characters I get it's not easy getting things right because nobody knows how people will dress in the future but shouldn't they have made an effort at least?
I know u haven't read the books but even though its like 300 years in the future everything has changed. It's way after the 4th world war and like they've decided to have the crown and a system. So yeah.. But like they have phones, Tvs, (few computers), cars, planes... And like everything.... But it's much more like the old times with enhanced technology. (I'm not angry just so you know... I like to write a lot😂)
They also do have our type of scenery... I mean they didn't go back to the very beginning. They still have a lot of things we have now soooooooo idk

The aesthetics are the least of my concern, it's the fact that they changed the characters SOOO much! This would of been a train wreck and I'm happy the movie is in the works. Hopefully they don't fuck it up.
