- We framed the 2x6 walls of the garage in the last episode. Today we are setting the trusses, putting on the roof decking, and shingling the garage. The garage is now rain/snow tight.
WE covered lots of information so if you have a question, leave it in the comments below.

I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! --- Let me know in the comments, what topics you would like to see videos on.
I started this channel with the goal of helping people Plan, Design, Build, and upgrade their garage. I'll take you through the process of building my own garage as well as other garage tours and some product reviews. I've scowered the internet and TH-cam for hours on end looking for one single source of information to help me plan, design, and build my dream garage. I was never able to find a single source for that information, so I started this channel to be that one location. I hope to help you with your garage build and after following along with my build process, help give you the confidence to self general contract your build. If that sounds interesting to you, please consider subscribing!

YESSSS I'm so glad I made the decision to to the Attic Trusses! So much room for activities.... Race Sim future?
Are Attic trusses designed to expand and contract or can you connect an attic truss to a load and non-load bearing wall
I'm by no means an architect or structural engineer, so please verify with your local experts for your application.
Attic trusses need to be set on structural walls, but can certainly have non structural walls touching them. The deflection is the largest concern and what static /dynamic load they are designed for. If you are putting a non structural wall below and then you load up the trusses by storing your max static load there will certainly be some deflection downward. Did that answer your question?
