My husband was diagnosed with High-Grade Bladder Cancer Non-Muscle invasive almost a full year ago. Since then it has been an actual fight to get the proper treatment for him. He got his first and only series of BCG in February, almost 2 months after diagnosis. Since then he has had to wait in long wait queues to get even scopes. He was due one back in August which wasn't done until October 14th, when the Dr wanted to do a biopsy telling my husband it was just a precaution but all looks well. Then it took until the middle of November to find out the cancer is back. We really need to get better care for him, but living in Australia cancer is an elective. Who knew you choose to have cancer.
I’m having the same problems as your husband . In 2020 a noninvasive low grade tumor was found and removed from my bladder . I went for follow up every 3 months . in 2021 another low grade tumor was found and removed . In 2022 I still was having problems a pet scan found a high grade tumor in my kidney . My kidney was removed. In May 2023 , 3 more high grade tumor were found in the bladder , Dr. removed on 6/1/23 ..a month after I still having problems . went to see my gynecologist , he did an ultrasound and found a large polyp in my bladder again . So , now I going to see another urologist. I don’t understand why Dr. Don’t want to give me a treatment , tumors are becoming more frequent and aggressive . I feel so helpless with drs.
My bladder cancer has been growing for at least a year My doctor doesn't know much about the type I am currently waiting for a removal Seems like I'm waiting too long as the cancer grows
I am so sorry to hear this! My mom was having bloody urine. She had a negative ct scan and cystiscopy. They told her they k ow she has it because they had a positive urine test. Did you have a urine test to check for cancer at any point?

@@kiiersgt4334 Normally after a surgical procedure, since you have to move some organs including the bowels to get to tge bladder and you also get anhestesia, the bowels don't immediately beging working as good, it takes a few days. In fact the criteria to dismiss from the hospital is to be able to eat and go to the toilet without issues. She will feel better don't worry

Cistectomy is not a hard operation, if they scheduled the procedure not long after the diagnosis it will be fine
@@orlandofurioso7329 thank you the operation was okay but she isnt eating after the operation do you know why?
