Glad to see folks talking about diet relative to bladder cancer. I had low grade Ta bladder cancer. 15mm was removed and 6 months later a very small 3-5 mm was removed and have been clear ever since (over 3 years since diagnosis). I started by radical changes to diet slid back slightly from month 3 - 5 had the recurrence then tightened down on diet even more. Stopped coffee, increased water intake dramatically to at least 64 oz. a day (put in whole house filter), add teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate to water each day, and many other changes to reduce exposure to toxins. I thought, heck it can't hurt! Now, my focus is longevity and vitality! Totally agree with entire lifestyle changes, that was my approach.
Hello! I was recently diagnosed with papillary carcinoma urotheliales stage p Ta low grade, I removed the tumor (12mm*10 mm), please tell me how is life ? What about rate survival? Can I leave for a long time ? I am still young .. I have never smoked or exposed to chemicals '' I didn't use to drink water sometimes I drun 1/2 cup of water a day .. please help me to overcome this situation .. what should I do ? Ur comment is much appreciated ..
You talked about eating brown rice, but rice is high in arsenic, and arsenic is associated with bladder cancer, isn't it? I've been avoiding rice because of that.
I would avoid all rice and eat quinoa while healing recovering. Avoid all processed foods and anything with added sugar. However, there is some research that shows low levels of arsenic actually can assist in reducing cancer progression such as using apricot seeds in small doses. A lot of drama surrounding this topic.
