I'm narrowing it down to this machine or another brand. I do have about a 12 plus year old Inspiration which never did what I wanted font wise and so just never used like I thought I would. But the digital cutting machines have come a long long ways making huge advancements and I am so wanting to play with the newer ones. But due to having what is basically a brandnew obsolete machine I want to get it right this time and find the machine that fits my personality and style. I've got digitizing background so not afraid to digitize. This video is helpful in my narrowing down THE machine that fits me. Thanks for your specifics and pointers. Really helps me see where I can go myself.

@@denisejudd5832 I’m not understanding your question. What is it that you want to do? Is there a certain project? I can do a video for you of how to print on your inkjet from design space, and then cut it out on your cricket.
Orly The Cricket machine is very intimidating but your tutorial made it seem a little less. For now I only have my tablet do I have to have a computer/laptop? Thanks your the best. Love your shirt. You given Us a TON of good information.
love it but i love my brother scan and cut more, you can scan right into the machine without hooking up a laptop....no other machine does that plus their design space is right there on the lcd screen! Its the best
By crazy coincidence I found out there is a maker space at my work with a Cricut and I was already going there today to make a B-day present for my bestie.
This was wonderful, and oh so helpful! Those stencil tips were especially enlightening. Would you ever consider doing a tutorial about Canva? (Starting the editing process plus some tips and tricks?) I find you explain things very easy to understand (and have been trying and struggling with trying to figure things out on Canva and how to start the designs and have them turn out in the kind of file/resolution format I want them in). x
Is the Mugs Washable with out the vinyl coming off? Like I'm guessing they aren't dishwasher safe but can be hand washed. I need to do plates for a bridal shower and this would be the easiest option for me.
Love the video! I have 2 questions, where did u purchase your paint pens from? And do you have to change your material size in DS to something smaller than 12x12? I’ve tried to cut small pieces of vinyl and left the material size at 12x12 but when I cut small pieces (enough for the project) it won’t cut saying that there is not enough material. Any suggestions?
What a neat machine! And awesome video, as always, Orly. Is the transfer tape reusable? I suppose it should be since you wouldn't want it to leave residue on whatever you've transferred to. On another note, how would you rate the materials usage/wastage now that you've had the machine for a little while - do you find yourself burning through all the auxiliary materials and needing to repurchase frequently? For example, when you did the coloured iron on transfer lettering, when you pull away the transfer, you've used up quite a large area for those few letters. Moreover, do you have any tips on minimizing waste?

I met someone who has a side gig making custom T-shirts, onesies, etc. NOW I know how she does it! hah. The reason why she can charge as much as she likes is because she makes designs with sweet or funny sayings and the results look so crisp.

I got the Brother Scan & Cut and a Silhouette - won't be going back to Cricut. The subscription to Design Space turned me off Cricut.

Yes, you can reuse the transfer tape. Just put the backing sheet on it. I reuse mine 3-5 times before it doesn’t work anymore.
