This is literally the best stencil tutorial I have watched! I was so confused on how to use my cricut and almost gave up lol. Thank you so much for this!
Just opened my Cricut last night that I got for doing stencils for airbrushing. Tried a quick stencil and just couldn’t get it to work but was missing the appropriate step and this tutorial is a God Send! I TH-cam’d a bunch, found a bunch of long, drawn out detailed tutorials and your 5 minute tutorial did more for me than hours worth of the others! Thanks so much!👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Hi so glad I found your channel!! I have had my Cricut for a while and I’ve wanted to make stencils but could not get my mind wrapped around it by watching others. Thank you for explaining it in the way a beginner can understand!!
Thank you so much for explaining this process so clearly! I had got myself in such a pickle trying to do this I nearly gave up. Glad I didn’t and looked you up!
Best tutorial ever! I used canva to get the design i needed for a decanter but I couldn't figure out the stencil part for my cricut till i saw this. Thank you!
This was such a great tutorial and you explained it so clearly!! I had no idea that is how you can make a stencil and I will be keeping this in mind for my future projects! Thank you for this helpful video!
Hi from Australia. Thank you so much for your very informative video, yes agree this is literally the best stencil tutorial I have watched! I was so confused on how to use my cricut. So was able to create a stencil with text but when I up loaded an image I wanted I couldn't get rid of the back ground as it is vey intricate and the programme said I had to have membership with cricut, do you know of any way to do this without joining please
Hi Shawnie, This is an SVG file that you can upload directly to Design Space. You can also upload PNG files and use those too. The SVG file is ready to go in Design Space. If you upload a PNG file you have to tweak it a bit. But Design Space walks you through that process. It's pretty easy! I hope this helps! 😁
Late in responding, just saw her video and scrolling thru comments. I had the same issue. I had 3 wavy lines, and had to attach them all together to have one piece, then the slice went from grey to black and I could slice out the wave, and left the stencil. HOpe that helps.
My slice button won't highlight. I'm also having a terrible time getting my text box to where I can edit or expand or move it? Any ideas? I'm trying to make a large round stencil for a lazy susan.
Had the same issue. I made a wavy line, duplicated it twice - so I had 3 lines. Slice stayed grey. I had to weld all 3 lines together so they were one piece. Then it went from grey to black and I could slice out the waves, leaving the stencil. Hope that helps.
I am trying to make a stencil for a longhorn cow SVG to use on a door mat so it is larger than what I can make one box but I cannot for the life of me get it to let me have the slice option. I have googled everywhere. Feeling so defeated!

I dk if it’s bc I use my phone to use design space but when I try to do this to create stencil , “slice “ option isn’t available for some reason. It’s in grey where I can’t click it as option. Anyone have suggestions? I only have my phone to use I don’t have laptop

So is it the white lines that will be cutout?
Ty!
Beginner here. What type of file is this? Does file type make a difference?

That's what she said
Can I use a photo image to make a stencil
What if the slice button does not appear? What did I do wrong?

is it png image or jpg?

Make sure that you've selected only two layers, and that each layer is ungrouped and visible. I hope that helps!
@@BudgetEquestrian I had the same problem and tried this solution and it worked thank you so much 🌹

Are your images welded?
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Why didn’t it show you making it? Surely that is the point from start to finish?
I’m not in favour of calling the pumpkin design “him” which is for sentient males, not plants! Sounds like narrator is teaching children.
🤡
I feel like you missed the point of the video.
You’re 2 years late buddy
