Walmart is the ONLY store that has loss prevention that will follow you throughout the entire store like a predator looking for prey. Then, when you go to the self-checkouts, they hawk over your shoulder and walk around you about 20 times, often peering into women's purses and constantly staring like you are a BIG thief. I have analytically watched these GOONS' activities many times and can honestly say that they STALK and TARGET INNOCENT customers. #Walmart #lossprevention #assetemployees #stalking #harrassment #retail

I don't shop at Walmart. The place is so unwelcoming.

I totally agree 👍 100%. I am done with them. I wanted to help expose their GOON SQUAD (loss prevention gang) who stalks innocent customers.

Never once saw this problem in PA or MD. That's crazy that someone in LP would do what you say they did. I remember my first few months working there, we were told something like, if you see someone take something and put it in their pocket, you can follow them at a distance but don't confront them. If you lose sight of them, you have to stop following because they could have taken the item out of their pocket and set it back on the shelf (had second thoughts).
So not long after I started, saw a guy take an item and put it in his pocket. So I was following the guy from a good ways away, but when he turned, he must've been quick because I went the same way and he was gone. And then I just went, welp back to what I was doing, and stopped following. Worked there for 5 years. There is no career with good old Wally World. It's a 110% dead end job.

I think I am done with Walmart for good. What I have said is what has happened directly to me. I feel like prey when I shop at our local Walmart stores.

I think I am going to start shopping at other stores and stay away from Walmart. Their prices are as high as other stores so there is no benefit when shopping at Walmart.

It can happen anywhere. I worked at a Target to where our loss prevention guy was kind of creepy
or do creepy things. I saw him one day checking out the teenage girls wondering around in the store, at that
time I had not been there long and did not know who he was. I went to another employee and asked if he
knew who he was, they said that is our loss prevention guy.
At the time I was like ok, he is an employee, but I thought it was odd the way he was watching those young girls
all creepy like he was doing.
Anyways, I would see him at times acting a lot like what this guy is talking about, he would
not be subtle at all, he would act like he would be hiding behind a shelved section to watch others even
though we had cameras everywhere in that store, so it was strange for him to be doing what he was doing.

@BrightStone-production that's true! Even high end places like Publix & Whole Foods can be crazy also. But Walmart is the Waffle House of stores!😚

On West Stone Drive in Kingsport, Tennessee, an undercover loss prevention employee walked around the self-checkout registers like a dog with rabies! While my grandson and I shopped, he walked back and forth, up and down the store aisles like CUJO from the Stephen King movie. Too bad I didn't have any dog biscuits because I would have thrown him one to fetch. #walmart #WalmartAssetEmployee #bademployees

I never see anyone walking by me,not the same person,I know one security guy because I dealt with him when the walmart gift card I got my mom for her birthday did not have money on it,I could not talk to the manager,so the store coach and other employees ran around trying to get the info, anyway they could not do anything about the gift card,I hate after going through the line at the register,I have to show my receipt, and Walmart puts older people in the line of fire, they have to deal with the people before security can be there.

Walmart asset employees here in Kingsport will follow you down every aisle even when a normal person with average intelligence would clearly understand you are not there to steal. Following customers throughout the entire store when they are not stealing is harassment and stalking.

LOL! Walking around the self-checkout machines in circles while you are scanning items would make any intelligent person irritated. Not to mention hovering over your shoulder while constantly staring at you while you are scanning items. Following people down every aisle when they are just shopping, not stealing, is stalking. Maybe, some people like to be stalked, most people do not.
