I bought the epiphone 1959 and it was a disaster. the action is high af, there were high frets, 1 tuner was cracked. it wish i didn't bought it. but now I got it fixd and its nice
@@drale81 oh my fault I misinterpreted your comment. I thought you meant "behind you" as in behind your hand on the guitar xD. The volume is just under your picking hand like the squier. Maybe a a hair lower, but the knob on the C1 is a lot better with a rubber ring around it for gripping it better.
I had this same guitar. Mine didn’t have the fret issue but mine was also set up pretty bad. The bridge was too high and the neck wasn’t set up well. After setting it up it was awesome. The neck was my fav part for me.
I have this same exact guitar. My frets are cut very well and dont hang over the edge of the fret board. The neck was straight and the action was setup very well. The radius of the bridge was good, the action height was good. Intonation was perfect. My only complaint is the same as your last one, how the volume knob was too close. But it hasnt caused problems yet. I can set my action pretty low without buzzing. Oh the locking tuners arent the best. But thats cheap enough to throw a quality set on next string change.
I got this schecter yesterday, I noticed that you haven't got trem arm in, have you noticed tuning issues with your one, with trem use as mine is really really bad with moderate use. Thanks
I've owned and still own quite a few Schecters and i'd say you got a rare guitar that maybe the normal quality control guy was on vacation or called in sick or maybe it was a new hire trainee that passed this guitar through. No doubt the guitar shop that received and resold the guitar should have dressed the guitar up to make it playable before selling it. I bought then sold a Silvertone Westbury guitar for the volume knob being too far forward. Kept hitting my pinky on it when strumming , drove me nuts.

Mine was set up perfectly. I didnt care for the bridge pick up. Replaced with a duncan JB. It is a giant slayer now !
Thank you for posting a review of this guitar! It has been at the top of my list for about a year.
Great review! One question: Isn't the volume knob in the same position as on the Squier behind you?
No, the volume is the one under the bridge pickup.
@@TonyGioMusic what do you mean No? He complained about the knob under the bridge pup, but the guitar in the back would have the same problem
