Apparently they're in stock right now. Did NOT say unavailable at any rate. This sounds incredible at least on this video, can't wait to get it!~ Thanks for the review of it.
@@j.powellnetworkmain reason I jumped on it is because I've always wanted a Rickenbacker but didn't have three grand to spare. That and the body being two inches thick or more. Most cheap guitars have a skinny body thickness
Rickenbacker necks are very polarizing. The width is narrower than any other guitar, they are also lacquered and sticky. That one is shaped like a mirror image semi hollow, 620, but the 620 is much better looking, with a checkered binding.
I just ordered one of these. I’m actually happy to hear about the neck, Ric necks are too narrow for me personally. I’m not too concerned about pickups. I have a pair of DeArmond 2000s that I will put on if I don’t bond with the stock pickups.
I got my IRK-300 last Thursday (2 days ago) and so far my only complaint is about the bridge design. The height adjustment screws are about 3 times longer than they need to be and the Phillips screw heads were in-between the bridge and the bridge pick up making it impossible to adjust the intonation. I had to disassemble the bridge and turn it around to gain access for adjustment. I also had to move all 6 bridge posts and reverse the order because the slots are different sizes and would not fit the strings on the bass end. The tuners have too much backlash and may be replaced later after I see if I can get used to the thick neck and depending on what kind of tone I get from the pickups. Reply
@@dixonstudios sorry that your the IRK is giving you a hard time. Yeah I definitely swapped out the tuners on mine. The bridge is damn near against the stoptail for mine but I finally got some solid intonation out of it. It took a while though lol. The routing would fit a P90 so I would try that if you are not fond of the pickups. I have one in mine now (just the neck) and it sounds and feels quite nice with the neck profile. Keep at it! It'll be worth it.
Yes! It's very easy! As long as you know the size of the tuners, and with a couple of tools you're good. Most tuners (like the ones on this guitar) are the 10mm size which is very common.

@@Bikedueder no problem! It's a nice guitar. The neck profile is my favorite. Very vintage feeling 🤙🏾

Is it easy to change tuners? I'm tired of paying guitar tech dude. Btw Nice jazz licks
