What if the Digimon Adventure DigiDestined Turned Evil?!

- First time doing a real Digimon Video (non-tierlist or Video Game related at least). Digimon has always been a love of mine so I really want to delve deeper into these 'what if' scenarios :D

The reason sora was not the leader was pretty evident in the series much to her own admission. While she was a good over all character she had issues when it came to believing in herself and was prone to having her emotions get the better of her as time went on. She would naturally second guess things that in turn would of lead the group into pitfalls as time went on. Tai while overconfident had one thing sora sadly did not which was the ability to know just what it took to inspire the others to be their best. Was he a bit too much at times yes as the show did showcase his overconfidence when it came to the skullgreymon situation but over time he showed that he had what it took to be the leader. The only other person that could of been in the first gen of kids was maybe matt tho he had his own demons as well.
Recently I had this au idea of Tai, Mimi, Joe and TK each having one of the four dark masters as partners, haven’t expanded upon it but I did do evolution lines
Tai- Agumon -> Darktyrannomon -> Skullgreymon -> Machinedramon
Mimi- Palmon -> Woodmon -> Blossomon -> Puppetmon
Joe- Gomamon -> Seadramon -> Megaseadramon -> Metalseadramon
TK- Patamon -> Devimon -> Myotismon -> Piedmon
The other kids will remain the same, I think it would be interesting to see Matt and Kari having to go up against their brothers, especially Matt having to fight his younger brother who he desires to protect.

Matt: Gabumon - Sangloupmon - Cerberusmon - GranDracmon

The family name in the original for Taichi and Hikari is "Yagami". Kamiya was actually a screw up on the dubbers part. I have no idea how they fucked that up as it involved reversing the reading for Yagami, but here we go, right? lmao
Tai: crest of wrath
Matt: crest of sloth (no friends no bother, stops trying)
Izzy: crest of lust (sin of want not just s*x)
Mimi: crest of greed
Sora: crest of envy
Joe: crest of pride
TK: crest of gluttony
And honestly a team of evil digidestaned would be great bad guys for a series

@eeveefennecfox I went back and did some reading, and what we now call the 7 deadly sins were originally the 8 terrible temptations with apathy and sadness folded together to make sloth making room for Kari to have the Crest of Apathy
I think for Sora’s character, she would act try TOO hard to earn love from people, so much so that it becomes an obsession. Thus she would have the Crest of Obsession.

First time I saw Panchomon I was playing Digimon Nova Red (The romhack of Pokemon firered) started with Palmon, get to the Togemon evo, get Panchomon and I was very very confused XD.
I thought this video was going to be more of what if they were evil together as an evil team type of deal, not doing their own journeys, but this scenario is fun to explore too. I think Gatomon is the favorite line: i love Ladydevimon and Lilithmon. I've never seen the last one before though. TK was also my favorite growing up XD
I also love Karn EX and I think you popped up in my recommends because of it :D
So glad you found my video! Honestly, my fave variation of that Lillithmon line is Tsukaimon to Witchmon or Saberdramon to Lady Devimon and then ending in Lillithmon. I just love the sheer variety of evolution options so I often for fun just go on Wikimon and search up random digimon and design lines. I realized all that work could totally go into videos lololol
@@Numanuma282 I got most of my evo lines from Adventure or Cyber Sleuth, the real problem is i never know the alternates cause i'm like "oh i have to go classic Adventure." I did love the hell out of Survival though and some of the lines in that. I moreso know specific digimon rather than the lines.
@@redtailedhawkdudecyber sleuth introduced me to the fanbeemon line which in turn made him my favorite digimon line. If i were to get a digimon; fanbeemon to tiger vespimon would be mine. So glad they gave him some love in the latest reference book update.

My god I can't believe I didn't find you sooner! It's funny you mention Karn EX cause your basically like his cousin! You love so many Digimon he does and have so many similar views. Although I do like your alternate perspective. (Even if your dislike of Joe hurt me since he's my fav, but hey we both like Mimi so that's a point in your favor!). I like a lot of your ideas here especially your lines for Izzy and Sora since it's really clever. My only chance I'd make is for TK to end up with Puppetmon. I could see his immaturity causing him to be insecure with the cute teddy bear he has a for a partner. As such he'd demand a cooler Digimon as a partner. And he'd do so but mostly out of rage of dealing with TK. As such he'd be Puppetmon and now would have an idea of making TK his plaything since he's so much stronger. Also to connect to the series dynamic. Also for Mimi to have Blossomon as her ultimate since it's trying to be pretty flowers but due to Mimi's darker feelings it turns to ugly monsterous flowers. And then to Lostumon which Mimi would think is truly beautiful enough to be her Partner and yet now she deems Mimi as not beautiful enough for her.

i want a series that has two groups of kids and for the first 20 episodes its a clear good side vs evil side then one of the many gods or overseers of the digital world comes in and... somehow DNA digivloution comes back
For Dagomon, Dago is actually a character from the same story as Cthulu. That's why he looks like Cthulu, because they are 'kinda' from the same race.

*Dagon. Dagon's not of the same race as Cthulhu, who is a space monster, but rather a very ancient member of a race called the "deep ones" which are like fish people. Dagon is worshipped as a deity along with another ancient deep one, "Mother Hydra," and Cthulhu themselves.

Nah, just kidding. I know Dagon and Cthulhu aren't really the same race, I was just trying to simplify the explanation. I said 'kinda' from the same race cause it gets across that they have a connection without going over all of the details. I did forget the n in Dagon though and remembered it later lmao so good looking out there.
Personally only change I’d make is switch Monzaemon for WaruMonzaemon but other than that it was a great videk

I honestly would love to see a video based on a set of 7 digi Destined using crests that are based off of the sigils of the seven demon Lords like the partners don't turn into the seven demon Lords but what they turn into takes inspiration from with their final mega and the partners all have a normal mega form a corrupted by the darkness mega form and a biomerge mega form like for example if a kid had impmon it's normal mega would be beelzemon from tamers otherwise season 3 but biomerge would be the version where he's in the knight armor from xros wars and the dark evolution would be this new one from the new card game liberator where he looks like megidramon but with the electric guitar wings because it would make sense because taking into account from Warhammer 40K the god of excess the prince of pleasure there is a group of space Marines called the noise Marines and they're all about extra loud music and stuff so gluttony being wanting more of stuff more loud noises would fit
I think in addition to this it will probably be best if the partners can’t turn back what their tamers have done to them is not reversible,that I think will be a very nice touch to it all.

Or here is a better destined, what if they used their Dark element for good deeds and the fact that they are of an unfavored element they are distrusted and alone like a lone wolf? Would be an interesting story. And they can have a wolf themed Digimon to go along with the tone.
Would honestly make a good solo story for Matt. I love it!
