@subject8776 100% apexes are the natural top predators but elders are forces of nature that usually displace the apex when they arrive or are disturbed because they're just too powerful. Usually though you can exceptions like vaal hazak which is the natural king of the rotten vale.
Didn't someone at Capcom say there wouldn't be any elders in wilds?
