I'm really happy it helped you! The biggest issue I''ve had with them is finding cables that are not a pain in the neck. The red Chia Goo are my go to brand because the cable really is the best in my opinion.

That's a great question! It's easier to handle a shorter needle, and you don't need the shaft of the needle to hold the live stitches since they now reside on the cable. It's a little bit of an adjustment to to go to a shorter needle, but not bad. I hope that answers the question.
