Honda keyfob reprogramming on my 2017 Civic Hatchback Sport Touring (10th gen civic). This might work also work on Crv, Pilot and Accord.

How are you turning on the ignition without the working key? Did you have the working key with you also?

Thanks for having the correct method, everything else even the honda website was absolutely useless. I even stopped by my Honda dealership to ask them how to do this and they said I needed to leave the car with them bc they didn't have time to help me.... a solution that takes 20 seconds...

@@geefamz7172 I need to reprogram my civic key that I NOT A SMART KEY, ITS ONLY CAPABLE OF LOCKING AND UNLOCKING the car remotely.
They want 200.00 to "DIAGNOSE" THE CAR AND ALMOST 200 TO REPROGRAM THE FOB, which I don't really even need, because It has an actual key to open and lock !

I don't have the push start, but I just followed your instructions with the key in the ignition in "accessory position II," after my husband changed the battery in the fob for my 2018 Civic. And it worked like a charm! What a lifesaver! ❤

@@LovelieLatina Amazon sent keys separately. One arrived last week and just canceled the other order because it never came. Since I want three keys 🔑 I ordered another yesterday but my locksmith is going to charge 130 to program both. I’ll let you know once the other key arrives, just can’t believe they separated the order.

What if you're doing more than one at a time?
I have 2016 civic Exl with auto start. I changed battery in both remotes and it worked perfect without programming.

@@CQB_life I have an 2015 Accord Hybrid and trying to program the 3rd fob. Most instructions show how to do this with a Key but I only have a start button like this video shows. This did not work. It really should not be that complicated. I would purchase one of the devices but I don't want to spend over $100 to just program 1 key.

OK so I am trying to buy an extra key fob for my Honda because my mom ran over my extra key but they are charging me way too much. If I buy the entire phone ( with key in it) do you think I can do this?
