The revamped version newly 10 years ago was amazing. Great boardfeel, consistent fit, and decent impact protection was expected. With all of the Vans Pro Classics from late 2015/early 2016 to today, the fit and shape have changed without the insoles compensating for it. My heel sits up way too high in the Era Pro and Slip-on Pro now, but I had zero problems earlier this decade. I'll probably get a couple of pairs of Old Skool Pros to chill in, but I can't see myself skating in another Pro Classic until Vans gets their shit together.
You should get the sk8hi Pro, it has Ollie patchs on the side, you'll flick better, I think or even the Era pro, they got a new version called "Black/Amazon" features suede toebox, duracap and a duracap pad on the side

used to ride vans only, Now tried Nike SB and im not going back to vans. Nike sb have far better fit for me. board feel is slightly less but dont take to long to get used to. and they dont wear down as fast. Currently using Nike Sb delta force leather and suede.
