Place the cinderboxks with the openings available for any of the fish to swim inside. This gives all the fish hiding places from the Heron.

Just a suggestion for cosmetic purposes: Paint the cinderblocks a dark color or get some nice rocks on which to place the inverted aquarium. You can also get some solid rectangular cinder blocks that would look a lot better in your beautiful pond. Nice work!!

Nice job on the tree recovery! I was a steady Wood Turner for 12 years, and all the people I knew anyway, particularly in our Wood Turning Club, always looked to LEAVE trees alone that were healthy and growing. But they knew their areas, knew where there were trees with Burls growing on them, or of an age/size to check on after heavy storms. I liked that about the people I turned with: If it was alive and healthy, good for the tree! But if it was taken down by storm, or sometimes by road crews, the wood was used for something instead of just chipped for a landfill.

in a Shallow pond they are easy to make,
But my pond is 6ft Deep which made the fish tower harder to set up and nearly impossible to clean. so i had it for like 2-3 months, took some cool pictures then took it down.

I wonder if I can use the 100w heater that came with the aquarium, to warm up the water in the inverted aquarium.
I know it can’t heat my whole pond, but making a pocket of warmer water in there would be nice.

did you use an acrylic tank for the inverted aquarium in the pond? I would be concerned about glass freezing and breaking in winter.
