Great video, ryde, and good points. Hope the best on possible transmission issues again. . Your Spyder still looks great, especially with the miles and being outside all the time. Ryde safe and stay safe.

Have to agree about Can Am's windscreen. I noticed it the most after riding for a longer period of time or passing a truck on the highway. Made me feel like a bobblehead. A different aftermarket windscreen helps. I do have to add that I'm paralyzed and don't have a lot of core strength so that would also add problem for me. For the most part it's an excellent ride

I had the same issue with the Blue Ridge windshield. Ended up buying another windshield from Gustafsson Plastics. They have a taller windshield and even custom make one. Great people to work with too

I cut my blueridge down to the height of the 129. The buffeting was so bad at 70mph that my vision was blurry. I prefer the wind in my helmet over that windscreen. You could probably split the difference and be much happier. I cant imagine how you kept it that long. Pulley maintenance seems critical to avoid the failure. I'm not sure if it's a recall, but I'm going to have mine checked and lubed properly. I agree on the dealer issue and none seem to keep parts in stock, but I like the ride and wouldn't give it up.

I have a dealer who is reasonably priced for service work and they do a great job. They have two stores and I take mine to the one furthest away, mainly cause there service costs are less. One is 10 miles from me and the one I go to is 35 miles but a more scenic ride. Hope your new one is trouble free!

Awesome useful info and stored outdoors. Apply oil-based Spar (outdoor) Polyurethane with a sponge to add better UV blocking to your plastics and keep metal like your foot pegs from pitting. Easy to apply to plastic or metal with no primer needed. Clear so no masking and retains color. Plastics will darken a bit makeing them look nicer. Gloss or matte 1 qt can at home depot is about $17 and you will never use that much before it starts to gel.

I'm wanting to go to an Adventure bike, but my wife isn't liking that. She likes that new 2020 RT for comfort more than my 2015 RTS. A 2020 or 2021 RT may be in my future because you got to keep the wife happy.
