It kinda slaps when you dance this with the figures from in Pinoy Centrism and the default Figures and some beautiful choreography that will somehow match the mood of this version of Cariñosa
OHHH where have I beeennn🤧🤧 SSOOO GOOOODDD💖💖 Kinda glad I'm not the only one who mixes Philippine traditional music here. I LOVEEE this composition ughh😖😖
Not at all! The traditional Cariñosa is usually only known within the Philippines and doesn't have as much exposure abroad as we would've liked. And even then, Filipino kids living in the country itself nowadays don't know about it unless it's taught in their Music classes (which I'm pretty sure they still do, considering how big of a deal it was when connected to the music culture of our Colonial and Post-Colonial past). So to see Steampianist making a cover of it-with lyrics and a plot to match its usual meaning!-was honestly a proud moment for us who know of the original song and how much we're trying to preserve stuff like this. Whether the listener is Filipino themselves or someone not from the country, we still hope it gets them interested in at least listening to some of our other popular folk songs, too!
Cariñosa is a Filipino Folk Song/Dance, and you could see multiple covers/version since the song was originally introduced on the 16th Century. You can try searching it up on the internet and you would encounter many covers that interpret the original version.

If I heard that I would run.
This is filipino music
@@alenateague0001 you don't get the context?

Well, to my pinoys TIME TO HIDE MOTHER FU-
this could be a background cover for Genshin Impact if they had a Filipino related character/quest
Thank you kindly for the idea- They’d definitely be a Natlan character too
3:09 best part ever
This song is so Nostalgic and Great.
I love how it sounds like a Pirate Music

The perfect song if El Filibusterismo ended favorably for Simoun, as he walks away from Paulita's wedding which are in flames
Damn right I could imagine that happening
