    Camtasia is such a good app, if there were advanced cropping features and more 3D stylish animation settings I would be satisfied.

      You level is a bit above me. It does what I need but I don't work in 3D

    Great video Mr. Stannard. If I am not mistaken this platform would be very useful for asynchronous learning for online class. However, what would be the best platform to use if you are in a video conference while doing your presentation on your screen? Thank you for the response.

      Hi there jonnel50. I'm not sure about Camtasia being the ideal platform for asynchronous learning in online delivery. It is educational screen capture technology, not a webinar tool, nor a platform. You can use Camtasia to make professional looking videos, which can then be shared in a virtual learning environment, like Edmodo or Moodle. Zoom is great for this, but my personal favourite is currently ClickMeeting: : th-cam.com/video/nXxeNOcQQiM/w-d-xo.html

    Can I set a timer for a quiz? Can I use an interactive 'Button' to prevent quizzers looking up the answer through search engines?

      Phil, I don't think you can do that. I have added some more Camtasia videos here www.teachertrainingvideos.com/Camtasia_Training

    How can one avoid having a video recorded in camtasia with unsynchronized sound and video?

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Solomon, it normally depends on the speed of your computer. Video takes a lot to process so you need a pretty quick computer with lots of RAM for it to really sync well.

      @@ttvRussell What I have now discovered is when you make shorter clips and merge later the off sync between audio and will not be noticeable.

      Or split audio and video and manually sync them by sliding the audio back a bit

    New subscriber here Russell. I have Camtasia, and wanting to do a TH-cam niche of my choosing. My question is do I record voice after all the images or videos is uploaded? I am a technology challenged person.

    Nice enough video, but these are all basic features. The title is misleading.

      T-Roller, sorry about that. I do lots of Camtasia training and they are not the sort of things I teach at the start. I guess you must be more advanced T-Roller. Try this video, it might be more at your level. It shows you some nice editing tricks. Once again, sorry it was not what you were looking for.
