I am watching all your videos as I get the chance after finding your channel through the essentials video you posted. I am loving all your content. It is so precise, and very informative to homeschool mamas looking for information about curriculum. Your kids are getting such a solid education with these choices. We love so many of these as well in our homeschool!
D was my favorite to teach as well. I also loved the connection between the stories and then the non fiction books on the same animal. My daughter fell in love with dolphins through LOE reader and still loves dolphins to this day!

Hi! Can you do a video on how you schedule your homeschool? Next school year I will have 4th, 2nd and adding my PreK student (as well as a one year old 😆). You just seem so organized and actually got through a lot of your curriculum. I’m struggling a bit on how to add my 4 year old. She really REALLY wants to learn to read and do school like her older brother and sister ❤️

Thank you for the walkthrough video you did for Foundations. After watching your video almost two years ago I decided to use the program for my 1st grader and 2nd grader at the time. This year my now 2nd grader is finishing foundations level D. My now 3rd grader is finishing Essentials lesson 15. We absolutely love love both programs. I have been looking forward for an Essentials walkthrough. So happy to hear it's in your plans to do one. Haven't been able to find one out there.

We are fellow LOE lovers!! Can you share how you schedule your homeschool? I’ll soon have 3 levels of Foundations/Essentials and I’m nervous about how I’m going to fit it all in!! 😵‍💫

I'm really considering the MB Holy Land book but my son disliked the My Story so much I'm hesitant to bring in something similar.

I have the 2nd grade SL Readers for my upcoming 1st grader too. Can you tell me how you scheduled it in your weeks to stretch it out?
For example did you take the 4 day schedule and only have them read twice a week? Did you have them do 4 days of reading every other week? Would love to get ideas.

Hi! For my second grader, I had her read only 2xs or 3xs a week from the SL reader schedule. On days we had a lot of Logic of English reading, I didn't have her read at all. It gave us some flexibility with our schedule. Thanks!

You seem to be an expert on LOE, we've just finished up Foundations D but I'm finding my son really lacking on spelling, forgetting spelling rules and even some of the phonograms that make multiple sounds. I'm really having to hand hold all of the spelling, show him the phonograms and rules for most all words. I also wish that the spelling for that lesson was totally related to what was taught in the lesson, it seems a bit random to me. It's even a lot for me to recall the rules and all the phonogram sounds! Do you have any tips? He is an excellent reader thanks to LOE but the spelling is so confusing for him. He's heading into 3rd grade and im just not certain where to go with LA at this point. I really enjoy your thorough videos so helpful!

On average, how much time do you spend teaching your children each day?

How did you not use the workbook for LOE? Did you just make copies?

You can buy the workbooks as a PDF.
When I got the bundle online, the cost of the bundle + PDF was the same as getting everything individually and getting the PDF instead of the hard copy.
So I got the bundle + PDF.
I just print the handwriting pages and consume them, and then use coins for matching and stuff instead of marking the pages for everything else. It really cuts my costs of purchasing or printing going through all the kids.

@@TheJocelynrae Thank you for responding. I guess I was not sure if the Essentials portion had PDF. I found it on the website. We have done foundations and the PDF is definitely awesome to have for multiple children.

Hi! I have clean Essentials workbooks that I will be using with my middle student next year. She will be starting Essentials in the fall. I used the clean workbook for the video so it didn't have my kid's writing all over it. You can also purchase as PDFs. Hope that helps!
