Thanks for the video. Is there a book list in the Taecher's Manual? I am trying to figure out if those come only with the digital prints or if included with the printed books.

My son is more so on a second grade level but has not mastered regrouping dbl digits nor three digits, 6:26 but he’s above primer level. Would alpha help him or be too advance for him to be introduced to those at that level?

Is this common core learning?

They have dry erase board with one line for handwriting on one side and its 13 bucks each deffinely buying one for each kid and workbook for each kid gonna cost a lot of money

Hi, thank you so much for all the content! It has helped me so much in choosing to go with logic of english this year. My only dilema is my daughter is 7 and starting 1st grade. She completed a different kinder curriculum and followed that with a reading program that we are almost finished with. She can read her small readers and decode 4 and 5 letter words but does need some help sometimes. She can write all of her letters but she doesn't know all of the letter phonemes just yet. She knows all the basic a-z but the kinder and reading program didnt expose her to all of the phonems for the letters with multiple. So my question is can we start with b and just review and teach the missing phonemes? Or would she be missing a lot by not starting with foundations A? It's just a lot of money to buy the full set of A and then the b in a couple of months if we fly through A 👀

I am trying to use the program and I am having a lot of difficulty teaching it. I am using the primer set. Do you have any videos on the best way to teach it on a daily basis or any advice please? I already called customer service and they said I was doing it the right way (read the instruction manual, play the video, and then help my son with the workbook pages)....I just feel like I am missing something, like the lessons are not complete or they are too short and dry.

I don't mind the lack of color on the pages at all. Right now, we're using Beast Academy, but just ordered Math-U-See. I have ADHD, and my son has dyslexia and probably ADHD as well, and the format, reading, colors, etc in the Beast Academy workbooks were too cluttered for us. I'm really hoping that because Math-U-See uses videos and manipulatives, it'll work better for him. 💗

So far every year it has been to decorate the house and home school area , make his favorite breakfast and back to school pictures but your content really gave me some great ideas to make wonderful memories !

Thanks so much for this review covering all of the changes. I had purchased A Simple Plan a couple of years ago and loved it. After researching last years version, I decided to go with something else. I don't regret that decision a bit, but still found that I didn't use many of the features of that planner. I really love everything about Mardel's A Simple Plan homeschool planner and look forward to using it again this year.

I have been using this for about 5 years or so, it's the best homeschool planner out there I think. I didn't mind last year, I would have still continued to purchase just because of the organization. BUT I am really glad they went back to how it used to be. I ordered it as well through your link. Thank you for such a great video!!

I used it with my kids over 15 years ago. Loved it! And a lot has changed due to keeping up with tech. I also noticed a change with teaching multiplication, that I don't like, and that is it's now resembling the "common core" concepts. common core didnt even exist quite yet. And, the student books used to be spiral, which was a lot easier to work with than bound books. Personally I like that the text isn't flashy. It's simple and not distracting. Besides, if a kid wants to be creative and draw or color in it, they can. When I have kids again I will definitely use it again, but I'll have to change up some things within myself lol.
