What a brilliant trailer and how clever the owners are! thank-you!
we love you, Lisa!
I love how compact this! And yet it still has everything for a small family!
Thank you for checking this morning
Right, Karie, it's such a brilliant design. 😍
we had a Winnebago rv about that age. the bed worked like yours and we slept in it with two dogs. Very cozy. You have done a great job and really impressed.
Beautiful wood. I love that he didn’t over do the restoration, kept it original as much as possible. Beautiful. 👍💖🇺🇸
Glad you enjoyed it
Lovely trailer and so REAL. Not fussy, but rather they really use this and enjoy it! Beautiful handmade curtains and cushions too!
Thank you
I had a lil 12 foot Scotty camper. Laid out almost the same. It had a larger closet w toilet in the rear. Made no sense to climb through clothes to use but I always wanted it to be a wetbath. Would have worked. Then the man of the house decided to sale to a co-worker while I was gone one-day. No I will never forgive or forget but I've let by gons be for now. How I miss it even though we always use the pop up. You have a nice camper for the two of you. Some folks get to large to homey then they never enjoy the outdoors. If I'm staying in I will just stay home. I could live in one this size. My 4 legged daughter would love that also. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels to you both.
Thank you for sharing the information

Men.
Very nice restoration!!! I am pleased and impressed with your attention to original detail where possible. The curtains and cushion material are so perfect!
Thank you 🙏🏼

You are kind to not slam me for a silly, but true, final comment about aesthetics. Grin=;^}
Of course, I was equally impressed with all the attention you paid to external, structural and mechanical details.
I had watched the progress as my brother was restoring an aluminum unit before health issues forced him to stop, so I know some of the work you had to do.
Thank you for this tour, Patrick! The designers of this camper really took care of some important needs ... storage, lots of windows for light and fresh air, and cooking space! He's right about the lack of cooking space in new trailers - sometimes the glass top on the stove is all there is! ... This ol' girl has it all! Very nice restoration... ~ Maria
Thank you Maria
Thank you for taking the time to show us these old beauties, I have never seen one of these. Great choice on the cushion fabric, it goes very well with the interior.
You are welcome
I LOVE this little camper ...
Thank you for sharing.💞
Thank you for checking this out
This thing is 60 years old. And I see a gem right there.
Love these folks. The other tour with the vintage 1990s RV was so fun!
Glad you enjoyed it
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures Sorry not sure why my comment posted 2x. Thanks as always for top notch RV content
Wow ! Sooo cool, thank you for sharing your tiny home and appreciate all the work you have invested..it's a lovely little trailer .
Thank you very much
What beauty! He's a great owner too. Good video Patrick.
Thank you Linda
I like that they kept it more or less original. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for checking it out
That table brought back many great childhood memories in our family camper. Simple design that obviously is still working 60 years later.
Thank you for watching this one
Nicely planned trailer. Thanks for posting this.
Glad you enjoyed it
Oh my goodness. Looks just the one we had when I was a kid. Great times, great memories.
Cute...and I love that tropical looking fabric.
Thank you for checking it out
Such a lovely camper! Great find. You have done such a marvelous job with it. Great work! I love that wood and the cozy cabin feel. My grandparents had a Holiday Rambler from the early '60s. It was very similar. So nice!!! Happy travels!
Thank you for checking this one out
I love the old birch interiors. They’re so warm.
Yes, agreed.
Wow 🤩 Patrick, what a Gem! I love vintage trailers and this is one of them thank you to the nice couple for showing us there treasure 💎 And thank you for the tips about the electric brakes, good to know!👋🍊County Ca,
Thank you for checking this out
Love it! Ken sure is handy! Two seating areas in such a small space is awesome. This is the kind of trailer I would love to see what Flyte Camp could do with it.
Thank you for checking this out. Lots of possibilities here
Interesting...I was born in 1960, so this little “Canned Ham” model is kinda like a collectors item, as well as a camper! Very cool 👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼
That is a well-thought-out little camper. Great design. And they have done a nice job of rehabbing it. It reminds me of the little travel trailer I lived in when I was 19 and a student pilot in Ely, Minnesota. Great memories.
Sweet trailer, and love the fabric choice! The counter top trim is spot on for the age and you can hardly tell it’s been replaced! Thank you again Patrick for sharing your hobby with us, and can’t wait to see the progress on your little Bambi!
P. S. I think they have vintage trailer rally’s on the West Coast!
Thank you 🙏🏼
Good teaching about the brakes, and other things, Patrick.
I grew up camping in the sixties in a little Serro Scotty about this size. It's so very sad that an affordable, tow-able version isn't available today. Thanks for sharing!
I’m glad you enjoyed it
It’s really amazing that he’s got a 60-year-old trailer in such great condition
I know. I like it
Love the simplicity and functionality of this compact trailer!
Thanks for checking it out.
Greetings , Love your Canned Ham really fun😉 I use to own a 35 Master Built vintage trailer. Vintage can be alot of fun. Best Wishes😆
Very cool!
What a beauty. So much potential.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Spectacular job creating the cushions!!! The piping is perfect!
OMG! This brings back memories of my childhood camping with my family. Treasure that little trailer. I've been looking for one for a long time. They are far and few between.
That is awesome!
Classic and very cool. Love it, thanks for the tour.
Thank you very much
Thanks, Deb!
Wow, Ken, you are quite a handy guy to get that little gem road-worthy! The cushion covers are beautiful. 🤩 Thanks to your friend Mike for lending a hand, too. Hope you make many happy memories. Thanks for the tour. 👋👍
Thank you for checking this one out
Thank you!
Beautifully restored for 60 years old
Thank you 🙏🏼
Of course that was supposed to say beautifully restored
That was really a nice camper. I like to see them all restored. This one it seems he found it pretty much in good original condition so that’s pretty rare. Thanks Patrick!! And Thanks to the Hosts!!
My thoughts exactly
Nostalgic tour for me as I had that same model - 1960. Miss that little beauty as it had so much charm!
Thank you for checking this one out
Loving the technical details you give Patrick!
The wife and sis in law did SUCH a great job with the fabric choices! Really lovely restoration.
I am interested in the "gutter" feature he talked about (I don't get how it works, it seems modern teardrop trailers have something similar) and then later in the tour how it relates to water damage inside. No need to explain now, but please do explain in the next opportunity.
Great tour. Getting better n better!
Thank you for checking this out. The vintage trailers have rain gutters over the windows
Winnebago museum would love this
👍🏽👍🏽🇺🇸
That is a sweet set up! The little closet could easily be a small bathroom ! And an outdoor shower would complete the need! I love it! ❤️
Thank you 🙏🏼
Totally agree Mind Bender. There is no way I want to visualize using that 'porta potty' in the middle of the night while I lay 2' away on the bed. I'm out!
I remember sleeping in the hammock above by parents and my younger siblings slept on the table bed. This was early 60’s
Love the cushions. Very 1950's and they are gorgeous! You did a great job at restoring it to look original 👍🏼😀
Thanks so much! 😊
It's a lovely trailer, with history and charm. Great job on the reenhancements.
Such a great practical camper.
Nice job! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you too!
Awesome little camper!
This reminds me of a boat. It's like a twofer! Love it!
The dinette table in my 2018 Winnebago Navion folds down exactly the same way. I guess 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it' applies lol Such a cute camper!
Oh wow, Cool.
Great little trailer!
Thank you for checking it out
Love the name Canned Ham very cute Winny caravan ❤️🙏🇳🇿
Glad you found this one
What a lovely little trailer! 🇨🇦
Thank you 🙏🏼
I just love it!
Thank you for checking this one out
Nice job. Thanks for sharing
Thank you Pat
Lovely camper, nice light restoration and upgrades too! Anyone else catch the ghostly voice whisper 'Jesus' at 12:52 while Ken's showing the single bed function at the front end ?
We had one like this with our 2 kids. Had bunk beds in back. For us bed over table like this.
Thank you for checking this out
Thanks for sharing, cozy practical and simple!
I don’t care what others say about vintage rv campers or trailers, they are much a part of American history as the newer model RVs.
Classic design
What a dream, to not own so much junk, and live in a 'happy little trailer'. Very nice video. Thank you.
Thank you very much
Very nice trailer!
I’m happy you found the video
I've had a small trailer break away, a bit frightening. Was able to manage a stop without any damage. Managed to use the truck to accomplish a stop. Safety chains helped keeping the trailer from escaping away from the truck.
Oh wow, that is scary.
This is so well built!
Yes. 👍🏽
What a cool rig!!! Ty for sharing this Patrick. ♡ your content
Thank you very much
Love the fact that they kept it original. Love the wood work, most older or vintage trailers people paint them and it takes away the original factor and makes it not worth anything to me. I am light sensitive so light and bright just hurts my eyes.
Brakes are a good thing. 😂 that is really nice. They don’t make RVs like that anymore. That wood is gorgeous. I couldn’t tow it with my Kia Sportage. I just bought a 35-year-old Toyota dolphin. The engine inside was partially rebuilt in 2006. And they’re going to work on the brakes next week, They vibrate a little bit when I put on the brake. Whatever it is, it’s gonna get fixed, I think it just needs the rotors(?) turned.
Awesome trailer
The aluminum siding looks awesome stripped of paint.
Yeah, you never know what’s gonna be underneath that paint and what it’s gonna look like until you strip it
I have a soft spot for vintage campers
Thank you for checking this one out
I'm from Pennsylvania, that's awesome!
So cute. That closet could so easily be a sower!
A little beeswax or candle wax on the cupboard edges will help them to slide easier.
Beautiful restoration! Lovely unit.
Great suggestion
Those "Louvered" windows are actually called "Jalousie" windows.
Thank you for the information
Wow! "Jalousie" is a word I do not think I've heard since the 60's. Super-old tech.
Yep.....grew up in the Caribbean..our house had windows like those ...lots of them ...LOL!!!! That was our weekend chores...... cleaning those windows...woo weeee!!
Thanks for sharing.
You are welcome
Excellent. Very informative.
Thank you 🙏🏼
This couple rocks!
Thank you Sindy
Love 💘 it
Good morning New Jersey outside Adventures...😊 cool video 🧭🗺🏕

Gorgeous
You do great job.
Thank you

Pretty cool

Thank you for checking this out
Cute little thing, I have a vintage pop up canvas 1963 higin tent trailer.
Thank you for checking this out
So jealous - They have 2 campers! :)
Thank you for the tour! We are restoring a 1956 Branstrator and we share similar features. Did you stain the wood or just varnish? Did you add a stain color, if so, what color?
We just varnished the wood. Thank you for viewing. Good luck with yours!
It's great to see this. We are in Chicago and have the same camper! I've never seen another one. Do you have any documentation on it? Is there a way we can get in touch - I'm hoping you can help me connect some dots on the history? We've had ours for 7 years and are needing to sell, and I would want her to go to a home where she'd be restored. Thanks!
Hi Ken and Stephanie, i have the same camper. Mid-restoration. yours looks great! Quick question - My tip out awning windows don't seem to want to close all the way. Have you experienced this? Thanks, - Kurt
When I do the floor in my 1971 TowLow I am putting metal down before the new floor. So it will last my life time and hopefully my daughter's. Cause he and her kids love to camp!
Love the upholstery. Where did you find it? We are rebuilding a 1982 travel trailer and need to find material for upholstery
Very nice trailer. The red reflectors on the front should be amber instead.
For a small area to live, that is pretty big!👍
I love it!
😎✌🏻🤙🏻🤘🏻😎
Thank you for checking this out
It must have been a wonderful trip.
Thanks
You are welcome 🙏🏼
A well layed-out little beastie.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Epic

Thank you very much
Canvas bunk above the rear bed! Yeah. Little bro. Bed
Right on
Wow! Big Bomb on the bottom end?
