“Hello, you.” Really, if there was only one thing this series did well (and there were several), it was the relationship between these two. Margaret seems to have been the one person, even over Phillip, with whom Elizabeth could just be a human woman. All six actresses who portrayed these two were magnificent, in every scene they had, but especially when they were together.
This scene took my breath away. Both of these actresses are profoundly talented. They draw me into the world of make believe and make the reality of another’s life story seem as though I’m on the set with them experiencing it firsthand. Outstanding performances.
This scene reminds so much of when I had a miscarriage. My partner had brought me home from the hospital, I got in bed. Then he left to pick up my prescriptions. My sister came over and without saying a word, got into bed with me and just held me while I finally broke down in tears
A beautiful moment in the series. I love to see these two women when they have scenes together. Despite the turbulence at times there was at heart a very deep connection that was most meaningful.
I never had the opportunity to see this series when televised. Seeing clips from The Crown in TH-cam has led to my purchasing the entire collection. It seems that it represents some of the most magnificent acting I have seen & a faithful & thoughtful retelling of recent history.
Magnificent! A wondrous and beautiful scene….full of emotion, love and affection,it perfectly conveys the relationship between sisters and siblings in general whether high born or common..!
The emotion in this scene is so perfectly captured and raw. The scene is supposed to evoke the love they shared as sisters and to cause us to imagine the immense loss that QE2 felt when she lost Margaret. Two brilliant actresses.
"The rest of us drop like flies. But she goes on and on". So very true, Elizabeth 2nd really did go through so much and seemed like she would be around forever. The family seems to be falling apart without her. 😢
OMG! What a (curse word starts with F) amazing scene! Good gods! The silences. The looks. The gestures. The dialogue. The kiss of the hand. Dangit! Two exquisite actresses delivering the goods. An absolute pleasure to witness!! WOW!
There are thousands of words in the English language. To resort to an f bomb for an adjective leads one to surmise that you do not have access to a book called a thesaurus. Invest in one. Enrichment is it's own reward.
Such a brilliant scene-- beautifully shot, the design, the script, the ACTING! So moving-- and though about a rarified milieu, the themes of siblinghood and finding meaning in life are universal.
Two amazing actresses ,love them both,The people who did the casting for The Crown left big shoes to filled for every following series ,I still think they are the top Series on Netflix and other networks for a very long time !

Probably because they were sisters first and the crown wasn't even on the horizon at the beginning
This scene was beautifully acted. Olivia truly nailed it with the supressed need to burst into tears.
These two are just magnificent together.
The scene that makes grown men cry.
Helena Bonham Carter was the PERFECT choice for Princess Margaret. Of all the actresses who played her in the series, she was absolutely the best.
Two brilliant actors chewing up the scenery; what was said, and unsaid. How they use their eyes and facial expressions to communicate. So touching.
Outstanding acting from both.
Brought me to tears.
A lot of folks are mentioning the brilliant Olivia Colman here - and they should. But for me - Helena is also OUTSTANDING here! Brava!!
Totally agree!🎉
But she always is.
Absolutely!
They both are brilliant
100 percent agree!
Margaret/Elizabeth scenes are my favourite. I still think the conversation scene at the end season 6’s Ritz episode was the best. It made me cry.

It's all beautiful, but there's something especially touching about Margaret learning of Wilson's Alzheimers and her genuine sadness about it for QE2
Yes!
Helena Bonham Carter's performance was so underrated

Im sorry for your loss
Sorry that happened to you
Did you have a rainbow baby?
"We must both carry on"....they only ever had each other as children....it bound them...
Helena is such talented actor with great range!
One of my favorite scenes of the whole show. Exactly encapsulates the bond between sisters and brilliantly acted by Olivia Coleman.
Right?! It’s such a wonderful culmination of not just this season but the first two as well
A beautiful moment in the series. I love to see these two women when they have scenes together. Despite the turbulence at times there was at heart a very deep connection that was most meaningful.
It’s so sad cause in the end she was without her for 20 years 😢!!!
And her mother too
and when her Philip passed, the loneliness must’ve been crushing.
@@SoBlissedOutI can’t even imagine.
Princess Margaret chain smoked. She could have lived into her 90s if she hadn't smoked, imo

Such a beautiful scene. Olivia Colman is brilliant
So is HBC. Honestly the two of them mastered the sister dynamic, even off set
Truly beautiful scene created by two brilliant actors.
Yes , she was the perfect actress for portraying Ptincess Margaret
It was so touching her sitting closely to Margaret and touching her hand
one of my favourite scenes from the entire series
Magnificent! A wondrous and beautiful scene….full of emotion, love and affection,it perfectly conveys the relationship between sisters and siblings in general whether high born or common..!
Olivia and Helena have amazing chemistry! Their time as the sisters is my favorite of the show
Siblings, its a connection like no other ❤

Watched today... Helena Bonan Carter is merely great!!!!❤
One of my favorite scenes
I loved this scene.
Absolute briliance
Two great actresses. Bravo.
Absolutely outstanding
These two are so magical together I just love them both so much. ❤️
What a performance!
Such a moving scene by TWO QUEENS... Olivia Coleman and Helena Bonham Carter. BRAVA!
I could watch these two as Lillibet and Margaret Rose for hours. And yes, the other 4 women in these roles were also superb.
I dare you not to cry.
Both - such amazing, outstanding actors. Brilliant scene. 👏👏
Not ready for season 6 after this scene.
They cleverly release this clip to remind us what will come in Part II of S6 of The Crown.
Wow-What a beautiful scene!
Brilliant acting from both ladies!!
Two amazing actresses ,love them both,The people who did the casting for The Crown left big shoes to filled for every following series ,I still think they are the top Series on Netflix and other networks for a very long time !
I love Helena
This scene is spectacular and wrenched my heart to its core.
Most sensitive scene
Bravo! Masterclass in acting. And fabulous writing.
GIVE HER ALL THE AWARDS
Both great, but Helena is just amazing.
Wowza! Two absolutely amazing actresses.
What outstanding acting!
Exquisite.
Love this tv show, ,y favorite
I miss the crown being good
Can we please see Olivia in more dramatic roles? She is fabulous!
Wow England goes through Prime Ministers like crazy especially if you look at them today.
Olivia Coleman is amazing.
I love ❤️ you too
Poor Margaret had a very sad life. All the money in the world can’t by happiness.
Exactly what the rich want the poor to believe … lol
It kinda takes me out that this Margaret has brown eyes and the young Margaret has blue
I always wanted a brother or sister badly.
Knowing this…how could they have been so dismissive of Diana and her health issues
Pity Princess Margaret. Indeed she's tired. She's justvlike bird living in a golden cage. Luxury but trapped!
😢😢😢
Joseph and today
well HBC certainly looks like the older one here
So why was Princess Margaret ill? Was it self inflicted?
Yes
How many does that make it? Prime Ministers?
My God! The constipated English royal class are talking about feelings!! Actual emotions. I’m shocked!
ideat
Correction…. Not ideation… but idiot… Thank you
🤨🤨
Not just English class, most English peasants won't show emotions either
Good dialogue…script writer.
Margaret wouldn’t be there, if YOU had allowed her to marry the man she loved
Possibly
Too bad about their acting ability.
😭😭😭
(that was sarcasm in case anyone can't tell)

Princess Margaret was truly an awful person.
You mean a truly unique wonderful person ,loved ❤️❤️❤️ her
Correct.A completely selfish nasty woman.
Exquisite.
