  • Grow Radial Roots on Your Adenium Bonsai Plant ( Thai Soco)
The video starts with some flowering Adeniums and some adeniums with massive caudex and radial roots. Then it shows how to grow radial roots of a Thai Soco adenium bonsai plant. It shows 3 Thai Soco adenium plants grown from cuttings. Then the main root of an adenium is cut off. Now a circular path is made by cutting for the radial roots to grow. Fungicide is applied on the cut area. The adenium plant is now left hanging in shade for five days. After five days the bottom of the plant is covered with white cement to prevent the roots to grow. Now the circular opening is left for the radial roots to grow. 24 hours later the plant is repotted in a new pot. Thereafter the video presents the updated picture after 6 months. And in the video it is found that many radial roots have grown.

I see you in your videos you are using a powder fungicide that you mix with water to then paint onto the cuts that you make in your desert roses. I have searched high and low and I can’t find the fungicide that you are using. I have found lots of stuff but nothing like what you are using. What is it? And where might I find it? Thanks….. love your videos. I’m learning so much.

No, roots may penetrate it. You may use something hard.
