How to Make Thick Canopy of Adenium Bonsai in 30 Days
In this video first an Adenium Bonsai plant is uprooted from its pot. Then the soil from the roots is removed. The roots are then washed with water. Now the rotten roots are cut off. Next the branches are trimmed to make the thick canopy. After this fungicide paste is applied on to the cut area. Now the bonsai plant is left hanging in shade for 10 days. After 10 days the adenium bonsai plant is repotted in a new pot. Now the soil media used is composed of 30% garden soil, 30% coarse sand,30% vermi compost and 10% coco-peat. After repotting the Adenium plant is kept in bright shade for a week. After 30 days the adenium bonsai plant is seen with thick canopy.

Very interesting! I personally can not stand the thought of cutting the tops off my plants, it took so long to get them where they are. Of course you live closer to the equator than I do and most likely in an environment more conducive to these plants growing quickly.

What soil mix do you you for your Adeniums during monsoon?

For monsoon only use 40% Garden soil, 40% coarse sand and 20% vermi compost. No coco peat, no bone dust.
