This video is the best on you tube - for explaining the CRF450R. (I just purchased a CRF450RX … which is a road legal version of the above bike .. with a fan, side stand, lights , horn and indicators )
I got one yesterday. They aren’t hard to come by near me. Seems like the consensus major flaw from the most notable testing forums is the stinkbug front end which causes difficulty getting the bike balanced, secondary to overly soft front fork springs. I have yet to ride it to see if that’s an issue for me, but it’s what I hear.
Heck yeah, congrats on snatching up one of these animals! The 450R models have been a little easier to come by than the 250R but it's a crapshoot these days on finding a dealer that has plenty of a certain product thanks to this rona mess. I'm curious to hear your thoughts after getting to put some time in on her, like with anything on the internet you have to take it with a grain of salt but like you said once you have enough people saying the same thing - odds are, it's probably pretty accurate.
Those who have ridden the ‘22 450, would you recommend it? Currently have a ‘18 450 and been looking to upgrade. Is there a significant difference from the ‘18 to the ‘22?
From what I've seen so far, you've got to throw a tune on her. Still reading into it though and seeing what other 2022 owners are saying and their experiences so far etc.
Turn your idle up. To do this, twist the yellow fast idle knob down by the throttle body clockwise. I like my idle pretty high for tight turns. I barely ever stall.
@Rive X the gear ratios should be the same. The mapping and suspension are softer on the rx for off road courses, it's a little heavier too. It will moto for you but it's not as competitive in that department wereas it will shine in a gncc or works type scenario
Same here bud, same here! One of my dreams is to take one of these, brand new out of the crate and build a motard out of it. I'm not good enough in the dirt to even consider owning one for that purpose lol but the street is another ballgame! For the dirt, I'd have to get something a little slower and that's something I don't think I'd ever say but creeping up on 40 now has brought some logical thinking my way lol!

Heck yeah, congrats on snatching one up! These things are animals and definitely not for the faint of heart lol!
Is it too much power at all, I’m looking at getting on. I ride open desert. currently on a Cr250r
@@KingCaz01 so worth. not much more power imo

I just jumped from 02 to 22 going from carb to fuel injected is amazing plus it’s lighter and handles better tho idk bout the 18 version
I ended up getting the 450 RX. Love it.
Could you have a kick start installed on the 2022's
Yes
Great video, how can I tell if a Crf 450rx manufactured in February 2021 is model year 2021 or 2022? Thanks
Should create crf500...
100%! That would be awesome!
You have one extra letter in that name.
when torque control is on, does the green light suppose to stay on? I turned mine on yesterday and the light wouldn't cut off
That's correct, it stays on to remind you that TC is on ;)
How do you prevent the flameout at low speeds?

What is flameout
@@WrenchingWithMatt Ride a Honda CRF450R and you'll soon find out what a flameout is.

ALGUN CONTACTO PARA PODER COMPRAR LA MOTO.?

50 hp! Kaplan cycles just released a video with it on the dyno. Also the yz450f and it put out even less.
Lol oh yeah, gotta love those crank versus whp numbers!
@@HondaProKevin exactly, people seems to forget the difference between the two!
Kaplan used a Dynojet wheel dyno with a streetbike tire to prevent any slippage.
@@dr.hugog.hackenbush9443 he's also trying to sell used 2-strokes an promote them as the "better" choice. Be leary!
@@northerntoyota7584 toyota?? Lolololol
Which one is best Crf 450 r or Crf 450 rx ? 😢
Depends on what you are going to do with it...from the context of your question, I'd say the RX is what you're looking for
@@leethomas556 the transmission is same right? Or instead of r or Rx I should ho for rwe I think it should be the best ❤️

Standard crf comes with a TITANIUM fuel tank ? Um this does not sound correct ….
It's correct, the CRF450R started receiving a titanium fuel tank in 2017.
**watches in CR500**
lol!
Wouldnt mind a blown-up roller to make a 500AF from...
Chad what 🧐🧐🧐🧐
Try 46hp on dyno
Yessir, gotta love whp versus crank hp like the manufacturer puts out.
Low horsepower and torque. WTF Honda?
👍😏👍😏🇵🇱👍👍
Thanks as always ;)
Sounds like a postie bike
I had to "google" what a postie bike was lol as I'd never heard that term before in all these years! You learn something new every day lol!

They need add twin cams to get more hp
How would that give more power
@@patp2462 6% MORE POWER MOST 450 r twin cam
And change the timing chain every 5 hours. These things are unrealistic for the majority of riders at this point.
They would need to change the frame to accomodate the larger cylinder head, and the bike would gain some weight.
