Picked one up about a month ago, just broke it in at Colorado riding trails, with lots of rocks and water crossings. No jetting bs, e start is fantastic, zero issues. bike feels lighter than my 08 crf450r and less top heavy(08 hits harder IMO). mapping is cool, mode 1 standard ,2 bog ,3 cr500 mode. I like 3. Front brake is beyond belief. only adjustment so far(besides chain) is moved clutch lever as far in as possible. I love this bike so much. No buyers remorse here. I would buy this bike again. No wing, no prayer
Hey man, I'm nearly the same weight (though a bit closer to 140), and was wondering how you found the stock suspension? Did you have to soften it up, or could you ride it fine after setting the sag?
I remember 1970 and a guy got a a rm125 and he could jump it like they had previously had not been. The suspension changed to much of what it still is today. My friend got a 1981 KX125 and that was when I learn to ride on,it's still a badass bike.
Every year testers ( in general) complain about a bike not having enough power. A manufacturers boosts the power and now the bikes are too fast. The suzuki makes like 5-3-54 horsepower and is deemed too slow. I remember when factory bikes didn't make that. Personally i always felt more powerful bikes ( within reason) are easir to ride because you can short shift to manage it. The cr480 I rode was much easier to ride than a 125 because i can ride a gear higher, not have to shift often and it wasn't pipey ( 2 strokes) havent ridden a modern 4 stroke since the 04 yz450f which was fast af.
All of the bikes are great. Been that way for the longest. Pick a color and roll. Except back when KTM didnt have a linkage. That rear suspension was like a slingshot 🥴😂
Does it really matter at this point how much power, or if the suspension is not quite perfect not many people can handle one of these 450's me included
I think that guys dyno was off or his bike was a lemon. Dirt rider had that bike dyno at 55 and mxa had a similar result. The engine isn’t much different then the 2020 which was a beast th-cam.com/video/3DFUa1tLJik/w-d-xo.html
@@NickW90 Nah, I'm paying good money, I expect to get my money's worth. None of this "it's okay, you can't use 50hp anyway" bs. I'm paying for 60rwhp, not 50. If you want to give me 50, then substract 20% of the total cost, then it wont be such a scam.
Hence why i grabbed a 2021 beta 250 RR just pulled put the power valve flush and it totally rips!! Only thing i will have to do is get the lucky inserts for it to stiffen the forks up a bit and im good togo . No pre mixing amymore either and its still carborated i absolutly love it.

I bought mine about 3 months ago now. Been to a MX track every weekend since! I love it and have zero issues with it. Very comfortable and fast bike.
just curious . how much do you weight?
@@carlosbarragan6729 150lb. Light guy!
@@masonevans5427 that is great to hear. I'm on the light side too XD

you guys should consider doing a beginner level shootout, since at least 75% of the consumer would probably fall under that category

This honestly looks like the Fastest Four-Stroke I have ever seen on a Dirt Track. Mr. Jones is Shredding.
You ain’t lying… riding that thing like it’s just his practice bike and he’s used to 15 more hp
Wondering how it will rank in the shootouts
Shootouts don't mean sht . They're basis

I can handle a 450… at 20% throttle lmao

My dream dirt bike❣️😘
Great review
You can't really see the differnce's watching someone ride. Mapping? Like training wheels?
I thought the same thing. Odd comment/ statement.
What 250 should I get???????🤝🤝

my map and tc are on my right hand
How tall is the guy riding in this video? He looks like he barely fits on this bike.
That guy is tall bruh I can tell lol that bike looks small compared to him
@@resethebeast51 Gotta be at least six three.
He just don't look comfortable on it at all. Like it's to short or something
It's only 50rwhp.

Ya it’s way low. MXA and Dirt Bike 2021 shootout showed it at 57 and 58 HP.
@@NickW90 Then the question is how manu lemons are they selling?
@@Corteum who cares like we’re ever going to come close to even needing 50hp. Bikes still a beast

Let's ruin the sport further, shall we?
