I think you're thinking about this wrong, or I am. Definitely probably me, but I think to myself, what team introduces a different play style? Helves are my favorite bb2 team, but they're very similar to pro elves. Slaan do leaping and have 4 blitzers with GAS primary access, squigs from secret league is basically a perfect stunty team. Chorfs and tomb kings already teams you can play like that, and everyone hates dorfs, so we don't need more of them anytime soon. I personally want a passing focused team with a thrower that starts with extra passing skills (*cough* helves *cough*), Slaan, Squigs, and a team whose catchers/runners/throwers have M primary S secondary which I think they could make work with Slaanesh, to avoid kill stacks and see more agi shenanigans. You're probably on the right track with what team would sell the most minis though.
I like that idea. Maybe not a lord of change as that may be too powerful but maybe a heavy hint, or even changelings that can randomly become any character or have random stats every turn. There’s definitely something worth creating there.
wonder if they repurpose slaan into slaanesh a leaping cage breaking chaos team. tzeentch could be interesting i see cheap wizard inducements, and since he is the master of fate, giving players pro 4+, pro5+, give players grab or sidestep (no demons though)
I’d like to see slaanesh just for the amazing sculpts they can come up with but not sure how I feel about simply repurposing slaan rules. Think they could just stand out on their own. I’d be disappointed if those daemonettes never got claw Tzeentch is a ball of massive potential. Never thought about wizards inducements, that’s a great thought. Great call on the high pro+, sidestep or dodge would be a good call, as if they’re morphing into something else to avoid tackles and blocks or simply disappearing and reappearing elsewhere. Games workshop have done really well with the Warcry/underworlds models recently that I have high hopes for them knocking these two teams out the park visibly.
@@3ggh3ad Beast of chaos, love to see it. Full of animal savagery, strength and frenzy coupled with small agile ungors. Similar to a lizardman team but with just enough subtle changes to make it feel different.

I secretly hope theyre next, some great source material to inspire their map, dice and models. The Punga Khemri team is amazing although the tomb guardians are massive. Anything similar to that and I'd be happy. Hopefully next year!

@@BasicallyBloodbowl Khemri are fine the way they are I think, but then again they're the team I've been playing solidly for the last year or so (and getting quite good tournament results!) The team is very unique, so most changes would be superfluous. Would appreciate thick skull on the tomb guardians though, and some new models are always appreciated - just hope the guardians aren't sprinting like the undead mummies do
@@Dementor_BloodBowl the way games workshop have been releasing teams of late they add in something new, (beer boars, hit and run, revamped bloodlust) so I can see something added to the khemri. Maybe a new positional or a slight change to stats. Agree with the tomb guardians, I see them like massive statues come to life, lumbering around and I hope that’s how they stay.
I think it’s inevitable they’ll look at this route for inspiration at some point. There’s some very unique teams to be made both visually and stat wise.
That is a good point. Maybe they go down the refresh route with a new season. Bretonnia and Tomb KIngs would be logical choices too. Not sure if we need a rules change though. The game seems pretty solid at the moment, more a new gloss of paint.

Oh not as good as I had wished. I’ve been struggling with a slipped disc and sciatica, coupled with a busy work schedule so I haven’t made much headway at all. Hopefully get back to painting and playing again real soon.
I think they’re safe bets for Games Workshop. Sisters of Sigmar are an interesting choice. I was tempted to add them to the ten but wasn’t sure how the lore of Sigmar would fit into blood bowl lore. Would he just have become a star player? Wouldn’t be adverse to seeing them on a bloodbowl pitch or a new Mordheim revival.
A third Lustrian team would be great, but Chaos Dwarves would be awesome.

Will any of the factions from Total Warhammer get imported? For example, what would Kislev, Cathay or the Vampirates look like?
