my dad said before scrubs he was always cast as a villain but it never quit fit him but this role was perfect for him. could see it. he played a similar character in a show after this where he was a retired cop or something that had to fight paranormal shit. idr. other than him it wasn't very good
@@J.Blazer Too busy basking in his own glory, he already humiliated JD by pointing out the misdiagnosis, and we all know JD is the gift that keeps on giving. There will always be more opportunities.
Why's he picking on Turk, anyway? He was basing the operation on a diagnosis, he didn't do anything wrong based on the information he had, right? Is he supposed to get a third confirmation or something? Doctors in the house, am I wrong there?
You're absolutely right. Yeah, that was a funny one. And JD and Turk were trying to convince the dad to let them try to give his son his hearing back. I liked when the Janitor told them that bs story about how he learned to sign.
it was after lavern died. the "shut up and leave me alone for twenty minutes sign." (or something like that) it was the episode where Dr.Cox goes into his imagenary glass bubble for 20 minutes (or tries.) he is always interrrupted. the same episode with the blind father and son and JD was asking if either of them knew sign language. i think it was 6-17 (my words of wisdom) the right reverand told everyone to take 20 minutes for themselves. The Janitor knew sign language so it was all good.
writer: Could be. Could be. It could also stand for Harry, Henry, Harold, Hanson, Hemingway, Harrington, Hooligan, Harrigan, Henson, Hogarth, Hobson, and so on and so on. ;)
After the writers strike there was a drop in viewers that made the show un-economical by corporate standards. It was a major mistake, but at least we have it back.
"This diagnosing machine, this fabulous thing...well, it runs on props."
ILY Dr. Cox.
That end was priceless.
"Cox. Cox. Cox."
"Me. Me. Oh, so me.
i love how he raises his hand and says "OH!!! it was... ME!!!"
lol
John C. McGinley, just great.
man i can't imagine if there are real doctors out there like dr cox, the man is just too good to be true!

@@dakotacarpenter7702 I've never seen him as a villain
@@tomlxyz from Wiki; McGinley received critical acclaim for his performance as a serial killer in Dean Koontz's suspense drama "Intensity" (1997).
I once worked with a teacher like Dr. Cox. He was amazing and remains one of my closest friends to this day.
0:55 JD's face was priceless
"I should have figured that"
"Black. Bald. And Diabetic." Cox really breaking out the super discrimination in this scene goddamn lol
He's one of the main reason I watch Scrubs. He's a damn riot!
I honestly think this is my favourite Cox moment. It's the one I keep coming back to. I'm pretty sure when I get to heaven, Cox is going to be God.
Cox is the most epic character ever.
Out of interest, are you still alive?
Oh wow. I never watched this show before. This clip makes me want to, so much.
He is like an extroverted House M.D.
Ok Dr. Cox is now officially my favorite character and hero.
"CHRIS TUUURK!" 🤣🤣
1:12 “It’s me, daddy.” So great
"Oh-ho-ho my God!! It was me!!" LMFAO
Dude you still alive and kicking?
They were saying Cox like they're "dick zombies" or somethin xD
"In my defence I was up late watching a Designing Women marathon"
suprised Cox just ignored that
And J.D. wonders why Dr. Cox (almost always) calls him a girl’s name!
@@J.Blazer Too busy basking in his own glory, he already humiliated JD by pointing out the misdiagnosis, and we all know JD is the gift that keeps on giving. There will always be more opportunities.
"This diagnosing machine, this fabulous thing? Well, it runs on props, so I'm going to need to hear it, come now..." Classic Cox! XDD
Beauty... sheer beauty. Thank god for cox and John C. McGinley.
one of the best cox rants ever!
Watch this and then the "How to Save A Life" scene, and it's a huge emotional roller coaster. Karma hit Cox like a ton of bricks.
J.D.'s defense can only be used against him!
It may sound like sacrilege, but Cox would beat House any day! :)))
Cox in the House, ladies and gentlemen, lots of Cox in the House!
brav0wing I would pay to watch that
At least when it comes to jokes, insults and sarcasm.
House >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Cox
"You're so edgy and cantankerous. You're like House without the limp."
"Im a huge brain in a ripped up body"
There's only one person in the entire universe who could pull the "OH MY GOD, IT WAS ME!!!111" thing: Jesus H. Cox, MD. :3
BEST scrubs moment EVER.
I was expecting lightning to strike him down when he said that.
I genuinely laugh at this every single time I watch it. He's a comedic genius.
M.D.
I love how he says "It was me!" XD
God, I love him. Hahaha
And this is analyising my sarcasm too much people. In the words of Dr P Cox
I was jo-ho-ho-ho-ho-king!
He's like a jolly Dr. House
Gotta love Cox
my god that dude is great :| how can u possibly show that attitude to so many people!
Can you just imagine the intense stare down that would ensue? Also, the room would just explode as a result of the clashing of their immense egos lol.

A year later and this comment still makes me laugh!!

I never imagined my favorite character on a show would be one of the most insufferable characters ever.
Hail Cox!

Cox could so easily be a drill instructor
LOL This new caption thing is awesome!! "am geez is a stocks... and they" XD

Favourite scrubs moment...particularly when he introduces Turk with the crack about his diabetes - so unnecessary I love it!
0:52 "IT WAS ME" - BUTTON ! :D
cox is by far the best thing about scrubs
You're absolutely right. Yeah, that was a funny one. And JD and Turk were trying to convince the dad to let them try to give his son his hearing back. I liked when the Janitor told them that bs story about how he learned to sign.

Sounds like something my High school teacher would say
Lol @ Turk twiddling his thumbs. And Cox lmao "IT WAS ME!!"
Eu quase caguei quando ele levantou a mão!
@Bartman954 Now is that the adjective version of his name or an amalgamation of JD and Perry's last names?
ME! ME! ME! OH SO ME!
gotta love dr.cox...
COX COX COX !
that's what writers are for
Does anyone else feel like this sometimes?
Nice one ! =)
The H stands for Holy I think.
" SO black, SO bald, and he cant eat cupcakes becuase he has diabetes ladies and genntlemen, CHRIS TURK!!"
Yeah it would be a great cue for The Todd to come in wouldn't it?
Oh yeah. I remember that one but I totally forgot what was happening in that scene. They did it to JD back to back right?
I'd laugh like crazy if I walk into a hospital hearing a bunch of people saying "cocks" like they're zombies.
lol iv watched at least like 200. there are so many!
