Thank you so much for watching my Flower Dance cover by DJ Okawari. This piece may be considered repetitive, but it has a charm to it that keeps me coming back for more. It has been years since the first time I've heard it, and I've always knew I would cover it one day, so here we go!
That being said, I have some wonderful news! You may notice that my piano sounds a bit different this video. This is because I just had my piano voiced, and I'm also trying out yet another mic position. The new voicing has toned down my piano quite a bit to give it a more even and pleasant sound. I'm very happy with how it came out, but it is pretty likely I will need to get the hammers replaced at some point because they well over 35 years old!
Lastly, something did go wrong with the focus on the camera for this video. I will be sure to fix that issue for the next video. Please leave your suggestions for what I should cover next in the comments! Feedback is always welcome ^_^

but I just wanted to say that; You were my biggest inspiration for deciding to learn and play piano and probably one of the biggest reasons why I keep playing. I absolutely love it and I am so happy that you are still playing piano, the video of yours that got me to start playing piano was the Skyrim theme.

I love how slow and patient you were in the beginning. Then when it came to the main chorus, you speed up the pace. Other piano players did well too, but it was too rushed. That’s why I love yours the most!

I've been playing my whole life and have idolized kyle for the longest time. We got to meet like 2 years ago and he was a total bro and played me few of my favorite renditions. It was the best. Hope you get to meet him too someday !
@@sneepsnorp1404 the only reason why I decided to play the piano is because of Piano Tile 2. I thought those songs sounded fun to play. I kinda wish I started playing younger though but I guess it's okay to start later too

I started playing the piano when I was 18, four years ago, due to you. You were my inspiration and one day I wanna be able to play in such a beautiful way. I remember asking if you had heard of this song in one of your streams many years ago. I tried to learn this piece myself but it was way beyond my skill level. You cannot imagine my joy when i saw the title. As repetitive or bland as it might seem to some, it really tugs my heartstrings. Great cover, Kyle!

I think the best advice I can give for this piece is to give it a beat, because that is the feel of the original. Outside of that, bring out the melody within the 16th note passages, and play delicately!
