This version of Canon is meant to heal all of those who are suffering from loss, which can often times be the hardest part in anyone's life. Remember, always be there for your loved ones when they need you most.
kylelandry such a Beautiful song! it heals the soul, thanks for sharing your music to the world, the world needs more people like you... This song touched my heart... from Mexico and my heart... THANKS....
Specialist of piano Mr. Kyle! There are a lot of your fans in korea. thank you for make me listening to good music anywhere. 당신의 음악을 듣고 힐링 되었습니다. 감사합니다.
Damn I thought of my recently deceased best friend from this piece. It was a year ago, I still remember when I got the horrifying text reading : Jeff, you've helped me through a lot but I can't take it anymore. Life was horrible until I started watching your channel. The music brought the amazing memories I used to have. This song reminded me of her and thank you for that. Thank you God for Kyle and may you always be remembered Ester ❤❤
holy crap. that's the worst thing i can imagine happening.. i guess everyone goes through different sufferings though. you don't blame yourself right? that would be even worse than losing them in the first place. when the pain passes though, i think all will be left are the happy memories. i guess the only thing you can do is stick to what other friends you have, don't become a hermit right? that would be terrible too. imagine what the world lacks because your friend is gone, it would lack that much more if you left too. either socially or literally. i guess you don't need me, a random person on the internet telling you this a year after it happened. you've figured it out i'm sure, still though. i had a nightmare once my best friend died. the grief i felt was overwhelming, and even though it was only for a moment.. well i understand what that would be like. don't give up hope, and don't give up the idea that a God exists either. it's a comforting thought, that latter one. the only thing i regret from this is i don't know you, and can't help you more. (if this even did help, that is.) TL;DR: Keep hope, stick to friends
I literally grew up with your canon improvisations and man, your canon videos are soo beautiful. I love how you are able to add *so* many variations to a single arrange, even though you've already have played like XX different versions of it already. The possibilities are endless, yet you bring everything together in such a nice way once again. Please bring out full canon album (including this one). I'd buy it 20 times and listen to it endlessly - Thank you Kyle!
i'm with you there. I remember him being a teenager lol and now he's all grown up! I loved all his canon variations because canon is seriously my favorite piece of all time. Please continue doing what you do Kyle
You know, what's amazing with Kyle is that the style never fails to draw me in : Wow, I want sheet music for this! And he always does. Even with songs that have variform of covers out there, Kyle's, to me, is the most condensed, others drag it out to perhaps show-off, losing grip of me with its repetitive sound. Kyle manages to show-off but puts it all in a short amount of time, the blast is so thick and energetic with talent. Love it.
This reminds me of my grandma who passed away a little over a year and a half ago. I used to go to her apartment every Friday and spend the night with her. We played games and had our traditions of where we ate lunch (and we always got the same thing) and watched Animal Planet together. That was when I was 7-9ish. Once I started getting older in elementary school though, I started to lose interest in my grandma and usually wanted to play games on her computer instead. When I entered high school she moved to a city 40 minutes away to be in a nursing home so I didn't see her every week like I used to. She passed away a few days before junior year of HS ended. But this song reminds me of her not only for the loss, but also because she used to play "Pachelbel's Canon" along with Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" every time I went over as a child. I associate this song very closely with her. I love the way you played this Kyle, as well as every other song you play.
@@Cursein oh my goodness. I forgot about commenting on this video since it was so long ago! I am doing great, thank you :) and will forever love this song!
There's such a huge difference between hearing music and feeling it. Playing notes and living within them. I've honestly never 'felt' music more than when i listen to you. Thank you.
i can't begin to say how much i needed this. i had found out yesterday that a friend whom i have gone to school with since elementary school had passed away. i'm honestly still in shock, but this piece is so comforting, thank you so much, really.
I don't know what made you do this, at this time. I'm not sure if it's coincidence or a little miracle from God or the universe. I lost my grandmother last week. My friends in my community lost a person who died too young and too soon. I wanna feel upset at you for making this and at myself for being here. Yet I'm here and I feel like the music is reaching out to me. Thank you so much.
This guy is one of the reasons I still try to fiddle on the keys... if there's even a chance I could ever play like Kyle Landry, I'll stay at it. Thanks for sharing your unique and beautiful gift with the world on TH-cam. I love to listen to you play.
Honestly I feel like you and the piano are one. I can't explain how beautifully you play the piano with such passion. I'm sure that everyone who watches your videos is moved every single time. I am a beginner on the piano and I can say that you are a huge inspiration to me.
This one really gets to me. It makes me think about all the ones not here anymore... Hoping they are all healed and at peace while dancing in the clouds. Great piece man. I felt your emotions in every note
I dont lose somebody important in the last time but, I have a pretty unknown dissease and no doctor knows a way to cure it. Playing the piano keeps me away from some "darker mind" and I want to thank you and a lot of another pianist for constantly uploading such amazing pieces. I dont know what to say but thanks Kyle, just thank you for this amazing work. Greatings from Germany
Im having a bad day, and I come to this, for healing. You've probably healed not just me, but millions of souls, and you should be very proud of that. It's a goal I hopefully get to achieve at some point with my music, but I still got a long way to go. I've learned so much from you and I don't even know you. It's like talking to an old friend that I come back to when I need him the most, and he is always there, giving me courage in the darkest of times. Music has its magic, eh?
I feel the same way Tommy. Music is magic. Kyle has helped me through so much, through my darkest of times. This dude probably has no idea how his music really helps people. I'm sure he has an idea be he will truly never know. Thank you Kyle for all that you do.
The alternate harmonizations are brilliant. The feeling you put into it is what makes this really beautiful though. Just what I needed today. Thank you, Kyle.
Your music often feels like I'm in another space alone in darkness, but that is far different with fear. It's stable and consolable. And I want to thank you for having brought me touching feelings, Kyle. I didn't realize but your music has changed my inside since long time ago, maybe a lot.
This may be the 12th time I've already seen this video by now. Seriously considering making a couple of extra youtube accounts to like this video. Thanks Kyle!
I don’t play an instrument but when they say some people can just make you feel what they’re playing, this guy has that innate ability to make you feel every stroke.
Literally got home from work after being told an old colleague died and this is one of the first things that comes up for me to watch. It's helped immensely.
i've been listening to your Canon variations for over 7 years now. I love every one of them and I will never get tired of them. Thank you for sharing Kyle!
Kyle you have a unique way playing the piano. You are one my favorites on here. Well, sir. You’re friend would be proud of you. Knowing the spirit is always with you.
Never though I'd see the day where I enjoyed listening to Pachelbel's Cannon. Amazing job Kyle. You are such an amazing pianist. I've been listening to you for awhile, and I am simply amazed with how much you've grown, not just technically, but musicianly. You are true embodiment of a manly musician and a musicianly man. Can't wait to see what you create in the coming years.
One of my favorite songs, actually written as a wedding song for a member of the Bach Family. Your medley is just breathtaking. Greetings from Germany.
This is great, quite soothing no matter your mood. Was just thinking about you as I looked around youtube for quality covers of 'Sins of the Father' from Metal Gear Solid V. Really good ones are hard to come by and are usually mashed with Quiet's Theme which isn't as great. Possible idea for new cover?
thank you thank you thank you. one of THE BEST renditions of the Canon for me. i can't say regarding the healing part of it, but i can say it touches me deeply.
damn kyle you Goin IN on those keys .. you know, listening to someone play the piano is different then watching and listening to them playing it .. it gets real man .. pika

Love it! Keep on the hard work! Where can I get the music?
It's perfect, Kyle
kylelandry can you make a synthesia for this? sounds really beautiful
My face is like that Pikachu's at literally every one of Kyle's performances \ºOº/

It’s 2021 and I feel you man 😂
This is truly a masterpiece!
For some reason I thought this was going to be a mashup of Pachelbel's Canon and the Song of Healing from Majora's Mask
hahahah this made me laugh
Stuart Redman I'm glad I wasn't the only one lol
I had no clue how he was going to do it, but I had no doubt Kyle could!
Just typed the same thing, then I scrolled down, to see this. Also glad I wasn't the only one.
me too

I’ve been playing this on repeat these last few days. You create such beautiful music
This is the best version of Pachelbel's canon I've ever seen.
had to click as soon as my phone notified me of the video. Top quality as usual!

You've got that right. I've only just found Kyle this year. I'm feasting and feasting through the darkness of confronting the shadow.
You've put your heart into this piece and it's definitely reached us❤️
All your renditions of Canon in D over the years never ceases to amaze me
The key change at 3:48 ... SOO GOOD!!! You're such an inspiration!
The alternate harmonizations are brilliant. The feeling you put into it is what makes this really beautiful though. Just what I needed today. Thank you, Kyle.
Unbelievably emotional. Absolutely love this!!!

Beautiful Kyle. As always. 💕
Who could dislike such beautiful piece of music? Show yourselves!!
exceptionally late reply, but Cello players.
I can say it is the most sensitive melody i've heard ever..
Beautiful.
This may be the 12th time I've already seen this video by now. Seriously considering making a couple of extra youtube accounts to like this video. Thanks Kyle!
This is Art.
Don't lie Kyle! Under each key is a blade that chops up onions.
You've been mincing onions till they're puree :( but wonderfully played, so touching.
I don’t play an instrument but when they say some people can just make you feel what they’re playing, this guy has that innate ability to make you feel every stroke.
I was totally frozen and shocked while you played. Thank you for showing me how far the human goes with piano music.
Merveilleux Kyleandry
I think this is your best one yet by far! Oh my, love it!!! Yes! 😊🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹💜

Highkey one of my fave arrangements for Pachelbel's Canon ever
Aww so sweet, love it!
Hardest piece I have ever heard, still Kyle can play it without sheets. Amazing
Of all your canon improvisations, this one is your best one yet, by far!
I really love how many colours you add to your piece... colours which would otherwise be unspeakable!
Ah, it's been a while since some nice piano music got my hair to stand up. Some very good sections throughout that rendition.
beautiful as always :)
감동이 밀려온다. 지나간 옛날의 추억들 기억들 소중했던사람들이 생각나는
It isn't JUST that you play this so well, Kyle Landry, you play it as if you understand YOU too offer healing with this music. I feel THAT. Thank you!
Kyle you have a unique way playing the piano. You are one my favorites on here. Well, sir. You’re friend would be proud of you. Knowing the spirit is always with you.
This was really nice. Thank you Kyle.
This was absolutely amazing. I dedicate this to my mother, who passed on Aug 28th, 2014. RIP mom.

Wow, He teach you.. Soo Lucky.. I hope I can learn from him 💕
Explain me that progression ^^
This is so beautiful.
Didn't think I could like Canon more, and now I do. This is such a beautiful arrangement and interpretation :)
Beautiful performance of the Pachelbel's canon!
