Thanks for the review! Just ordered one hoping it will read transmission fluid temperature on a Lexus ES-350 and an RX-350 (have to be able to read it to do a drain & fill, as you probably know).
@@Turningwrenches85did you change your location, I've seen others say it comes set to Europe. You have to go into "AREA" and change it to North America
Purchased this tool and I was told that it had the ability to check the TPMS sensors and to register the battery in the future when it is needed. Well, it does do those features and more. BUT, you are required to purchase those functions and they only last a year. Still going to keep it though. The free updates are for the original functions.
I wasn't gonna see if they had an updated one.But unfortunately I'm not finding It on Amazon anymore. It looks like they took that 1 off.Which I don't understand why they don't have a link for that . They have one for a Nissan. It looks exactly like it but not the toyota/ lexus
Looks like it's a waste of money if the car doesn't even support auto VIN detect. All car old and new should be able to let the scanner detect the vin. Now I'm having a second thought about buying one for my suv.

It checks modules, active test, graphing, evap. test, etc. Select North American. Evap. codes are purge valve and charcoal canister.

Oh wow i didn't know that those other features only last a year
That is the best tool.for. testing the engine instead of going to the shop
Yes it sure is save money there for sure
Your Amazon link takes me to the tool for Honda/Acura. Can you please update the link to show the Toyota/Lexus tool? Thanks

The instructions say turn key on. What do you do if your car doesn't have a key?
If you have push start I think it is push it once like the accessory when you turn a key
Will it work for a 2003 Honda Odyssey? I have no lights on the dash but you never know 20 year old car.
Maybe . But prob just the regular obd2 functions

Yes I wasn't a big fan also that the auto scan Vin wouldn't work also, so I can't blame you there
You did not read the instructions, you can do all bidirectional testing on a Toyota
More than likely the issue why I couldn't figure it out
America is 16 pin not 17
I did forget that, thank you sir
